  1. I assume it is not to your taste? [] It's growing on me [] ( not) Brian []
  2. In was going to get Godspeed for mine before I sold it - spoke to Ian Godney about the kit, he reckons the 4 pot Subaru calipers are actually quite good - just need a bigger contact area - speak to Ricey he has had it for years on his car. He said it was great. AP's will fit under your 17's Stephen - that was also an (expensive) option. I'd go Godspeed - the Brembo's are pretty overpriced often and I liked the standard WRX wheels. Brian []
  3. LOL - witty guy []
  4. I'm going to have a look at these questions! LOL Just a pity he has not posted them on the thread. Not a car I was considering at all I am afraid []
  5. Seems to be quite a few cars being sold today - the one Scoobytoo has had listed in General (the really mint show winner) sold today after 2 months... Anyone sold a house or a child today? Brian []
  6. Great Paddy, Glad to see it is going to a new home - I hope they look after it as well as you have done [] Brian []
  7. Yes I second Extreme Motorsport in Whitburn - very good and proper 4WD alignment gear too. Their feature EVO VI (with big power) was in Jap Performance this month. They also run a track prepared Fiesta for racing too. Subaru and Mitsubishi specialists. Used them for all my intermediate oil changes and 4WD alignment stuff on many occasions (as well as tyres etc). Brian []
  8. Lol!!! It was the low level one which was affectionately referred to as "the ironing board" as well - yours must just be the ironing board folded up into position...hope the iron was cool [] Brian []
  9. This "colin mcgrae" version has such great features as: "imported body kit from poland" "tinted lexus rear lights" "sparco steering wheel with hologram flake center" and "its all been fully respayed in blue and gold with some hologram mini flakes in the laquer which shine all different colours in the sun tastefully done not over the top needs to be seen seen to be appeciated" (paint job aside, it looks like quite a nice car) IMY - this must be the way ahead for you! []
  10. Oh dear: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/subaru-impreza-wrx-s...1QQcmdZViewItem Brian []
  11. At least I am in the house and not pretending to be at work - although going out V soon to see a man about a dog!
  12. 99RON and apparently due to be launched here next week! As posted by Frank C in general: "Shell Garages will be getting promotional leaflets on the 17th August... Some Managers are invited to Snetterton on the 23rd for the release on the 24th August" As posted by Diablo blaze: The official release is the 23rd of August, it will then become V-power @ 99ron. Thats all I can say The only 102 ron fuel is some BP stuff which is only sold currently at 6 stations nation wide and they are all near race tracks. AND "I am organising part of the event at Snetterton" Brian []
  13. Hey all, Thought some of you may find some answers here at NASIOC (North American Subaru Impreza Owners Club). Some of the questions/answers are a bit USA specific but it may answer a few points. http://forums.nasioc.com/faqs.htm Brian []
  14. Silver (classic) Impreza's rock - always the best colour IMHO!
  15. This car is a "22B-eater" as the badges said [] - Stevie will fill you in. A lovely, low mileage UK car with every option thrown at it. It was Colin Noble's car I believe [] Lovely car - best looking wagon I think Brian []
  16. A real shame to realise that - pointless stuff like this is happening often - why?
  17. Anyone else seen this?
  18. Seriously - £14,495 - that's WAY overpriced!!! And WAY over my trade in price too. I wonder what it got at auction??? What chance have they got of selling it at that price? I hope someone buys it and comes on here - I have all the history & receipts etc for it. Brian []
  19. Ferrodo DS2500 or Pagid RS 4.2.1. Some people use EBC Red Stuff, but there seem to be some issues with them not lasting very long at all. Do a search on here - there are dozens of threads about brake pads. Brian []
  20. Looks VERY familiar - is that Stevie's old car? VERY clean and tidy car. Brian []
  21. beans...spill?
  22. That's what you want then - GET AN ORIGIN B2. I'll buy another when I get back into licence losing territory!
  23. Craig - a monkey could install it - its' so easy and NO electrical knowledge needed - it is plug and play.
