I suppose the person may not want to be seen to be getting "glory" from making such a large donation, or they would rather not make a big deal of it. I have no idea of the reasons and, TBH, I did not ask. If someone wants to pay good money for what is a good prize, and for a good cause, I am glad to accept it.
