Cheers Scott,
We had a good time but glad to be back to (relative) safety
Didn't stop us, or the Londoners, going about our business though - as much as possible with the transport disruption but the weather was good.
Oh, and belated Happy Birthday BTW - hope Steve was good to you

Just back from Sunny London - alive thankfully. Good time was had - but a real shame for the poeple living amongst all that goes on.

Y'can borrow mine if you like Spooks until you get one?
Should fit OK.

It's well worth it Billy - I have my IAM badges proudly displayed on my cars after lots of time and effort

I use Swifts in Whitburn - Extreme Motorsport Subaru and Mitsubishi specilists by another name - they have done all my intermediate changes. Very good and Geordie is a superb mechanic.

Sorry to hear this Kitten. This place can be a bit strange sometimes, as can the banter.
Not much joy on Scoobynet though
It is however bigger, and that can mean it becomes less personal. This is the best place for meeting folk in Scotland, as most users are here.
Good luck anyway,

I was down to Newton Stuart from Glasgow today and they are stretched all the way from just past Kilmarnock down to Girvan - there are quite a few sets of them. You can't miss them - they are on what looks like an old fashioned lamppost above each carriageway and the cameras are yellow!

Karting at the Stables - you must be mistaken
I am back from London then but I am working that night sorry

CD2 engine detailer from Halfords is what you want.
Two sprays - one is a cleaner - spray it on, leave it a while, then rinse it off covering alternator etc and not drowning the engine, preferable with a pressure washer.
Second spray is the detailer and blackens/silicons everything - DO NOT OVER SPRAY as it looks tacky. Dulls down over a few miles to look clean and more of a matt finish.
It cost £7.99 when I bought it recently.
Mark Underwood aka the wax wizard is the guy to do the real job - uses his own products like Swissol and very good too. Not sure how to get a hold of him or the products, but CD2 will do the job you are looking for.

Yes, they'll be stocking and fitting (of course) the full range - they are waiting on their first shipment

Welcome along Chris

Meant to add - the service included a battery for my alarm keyfob and a coolant change too

Read a LOT about this in general and on Scabbynet.

Thanks to A F Nobles Subaru, Penicuik for the service BTW - efficient and personal as ever.

Car is back and running beautifully!!! 30,000 mile service - lots of things done (diff oil, gearbox oil, all filters including fuel, oil and air, spark plugs, brake service front and rear, oil change Shell Helix Ultra plus all the usual multitude of checks), picked up from my house 35 miles from the garage and delivered back to me in one day @ no charge - total cost was £343.
WARNING - Avoid "Spincaps" (anti-theft valve caps) - all of mine had seized recently in spite of them being lubricated. I had to get the valves broken and replaced - luckily none of the beads exploded on the tyres - a real surprise...all in my humble opinion of course
BIG THANKS to Jim @ Extreme Motorsport in Whitburn (Swifts) - a superb on the spot job, for an unbeatable price. Newly renovated premises - about to be expanded further for customers.
ALSO - Extreme/Swifts will now be autorized retailers and fitters for Whitleline products and Exedy clutches - they are waiting on their first batch of stock. Get yourselves down there. Subaru and Mitsubishi specialists - thei EVO is running 450+ BHP and MUCH more is planned.
