  3. Sunday 3rd April - Banzai Bonanza Is anyone interested in going to this, we could see if we could get a club stand. "JOE and Co will be here from BANZAI magazine to find Scotland's top cars on the 1/4 and on the drift track. As well as the 1/4 and drift Competition there will be show and Shine with all the usual prizes and judging by you for the best Oriental motors in Scotland. Fear not other makes as its business as usual for non Jap motors as well so no one misses out on Scotland's RWYB 1/4 mile and drift track." Crail Raceway

  6. Nice car, why don't you come along to the Cotton Mill in Kilmarnock next Friday(11th) to meet a few Scooby nuts(Ayrshire Monthly Meet)
  7. Dougster , I think you need to be a bit more diplomatic with your answers, I only asked a question I wasn't having a dig. If you had replied saying that people join to get cheap track time then that would fine. I feel that you try and antagonise a lot of theses post's with what you think are smart arsed remarks, i.e. about bringing your Honda. I think you should have a look at your remarks and see what they are doing for the club.
  8. Can you please e-mail (malcolm.duff@btinternet.com) your pictures to me by Sunday morning so that i can get these's done for Monday night. Thanks.
  9. "You don't have to own a Subaru to join SIDC!!!" I'm not bothered about the other cars coming to the meet but your statement puzzles me, why would you join the SIDC if you dont own a Subaru ? PS I am looking forward to seeing the nice skyline, R34 very tempting!!!

  11. Dougster Wilky Seevers Devlin Please can you let me know if you are still interested in the lanyards/id cards, they can be paid by paypal to make things easy just use malcolm.duff@btinternet.com. I think theses will be great at Knockhill as an "ice breaker", if anyone else is interested then e-mail your details to me. Subaru Lanyard = £5 ID Card =£3 P&P =£1
  12. All right folks, Just wondered if anyone is interested in the above idea ? We have introduced it in the Ayrshire region & it seems to work well as new members can easily see who they are talking to. If yous were interested then I can change & personalise them to your area. I think these will be excellent when attending shows/meets further a field as you will be able to see fellow club members at a glance. Price is £9 Inc postage & packing, not bad for a personalised id badge & a genuine Subaru Lanyard. Subaru Lanyard =£5 ID Card =£3 P&P =£1 Total £9
  13. Any more for any more ? Please can those who posted that they wanted a lanyard but have not sent payment/pictures yet, let me know if you still want one.
  14. NO, there is no time limit, just send payment & details and i will get one sent out to you.
  15. If you would like your lanyard posted out, you can now pay by paypal(malcolm.duff@btinternet.com). Just e-mail me a picture of your car & your address and i will get them posted out to you. Lanyard =£5 ID Badge =£3 P&P =£1 Total =£9 Thanks.
  16. I think this is a good idea but I have a few concerns, the first is you have classed it as "informal meet" & "informal gathering" should we not try and do the Scottish Big Yun proper and go through the proper channels within the club i.e. get the Ro's/Scottish Co ordinator/The Boss & the clubs own events organiser (Muddy) involved. This would make it a proper event(backed by the club) that may attract more visitors from other parts of the country, an "informal meet" I think would put some people of from attending. Secondly a proper team has to be put together to pull this off successfully(not necessarily Ro's, just volunteers) who will organise all the details for the day/days. Hopefully this can be a well organised event just like The Northern Big One/Jae/Doncaster etc, maybe if we have a good "Scottish Scoobies" presence at these events then that would encourage some English,Welsh & Irish members to attend our National day.

If you would like theses done for Friday can you please e-mail youre pics asap, i can use the pictures that some of yous have posted on the other thread I dont have pictures of the following Wilky Seevers Devlin Billyboy Cal (got picture but half your wheels are missing) Bling Bling Phil (I will take the scottish scoobies of yours, but only if you want one)
  19. You's can pay for them at the next meet at Kilmarnock/Glasgow or at Knockhill.
  20. Is this just a meet in a carpark ? Have you asked permission ? Just checking as you didn't own up to organising the last one when the cops turned up . Dont want to travel 40 mile each way just to get turned away by the cops.
  21. After listening to your buying techniques the other night, I thought I would give it a try.
  22. Anybody who wants there car on the front e-mail a picture to malcolm.duff@btinternet.com & I will get them printed. I will go & see if we can get the lanyards a bit cheaper on Saturday. If Phil would like a sample made up he could e-mail his address/picture to me then I could it posted off to him.
  23. I think it costs about £250, but you would be better buying some Meguires polish(£13) a few coats and your car will be gleaming
  24. Open to offers ? £90 ??? As you know you've got to start low
