Go for a wander into Kinloch Rannoch, only 5 mins from hotel. Theres a tiny bar called the stables behind Dunalistair hotel, usually full of weird and wonderful characters! Remember and pack your tin flute for dinner, its quite posh or just have a bar meal and get mashed!! Col.

I second loch Carron, amazing scenery and some fantastic roads. Oobster, I lived in the Macdonald Loch rannoch hotel for 3 months, 3 years ago. Was working near there even though I only lived an hour away in Pitlochry the company insisted[] Got some funny looks pulling up in a works van covered in muck every night!

I do it all the time, always in the very last bay though and only if there are loads of empty ones. 80% of people dont give a toss about your car, seen loads get scraped and dented by complete tossers.
