I'm sure the y- pipe from turbo to intercooler should say prodrive on it (mine does), maybe even be blue in colour? The standard (non ppp) is a hard black plastic effort. Hope this helps and isn't incorrect someone else will know...
Only on a WRX - STi has Alloy "Y" pipe and Red 90-degree pipe to Turbo
Subaru dealer will confirm it WAS fitted by VIN ( not to say the seller hasn't flogged it and put a Standard ECU in it.
TBH, save your money over standard and get it EcuTeK'ed

Just a note to say well done to the boys for scalping the Aussies 2-1 and getting the Ashes back .........................GET IT UP YA!!!!!

Sadly there was a fatality onboard one of our Drillships in India so 1/2 the guys I was going to see had to go there so they cancelled it.

Jim King gets my vote if you need a garage to do it..................................... although there are cheaper options
-
GT35 on an Evo has a fast spoolup as the exhaust manifold has the turbo bolted right onto it (VERY SHORT PIPING)
Donald's car has always been fast........................................ helps that he's a very capable driver too!
-
2.3 HKS fully forged engine and a GT35 for starters
-
Induction Kit fitted? If so - you'll still hear the recirc air bein gdumped back into the Inlet Pipe.

One of the bolts holding the Cambelt Covers on is a smaller and easier-sized bolt to use when removing the Pivot Pin

Alyn unit will be the Stage 1 unit which comes un the PINK box. and can handle well in excess of 350lb/ft.
The one I am offering can handle 350lb/ft it is in between Ciarans clutch and the Stage 1 clutch which is what you were asking for. If you want one of the PINK Stage 1 clutches, you're looking at 300 UKP and she'll handle 380lb/ft easily.
Trust me, if your running 350lb/ft on a UK MY99 Gearbox, the clutches ability will be the LEAST of your worries
If you are at all in doubt - go with Alyn recommendation. He's always given the best, most cost effective advice on here and you can rely on his recommendations

Loving the HKS this time Wuz.
How much is a bit more than 10%? I recon mine do about 1% at the moment.
I got the disks off you infact, i will get around to fitting them at some point
If they are working right, about 20-22%

HKS sounding right this time Ciaran?
Think you'll find the rear brakes do a bit more than 10% of the braking..............

Superb! i'll order a set now. I wonder why they all advertise them as being for the 2.0 ltr only??
STOO
7B's.............NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
These will NOT fit your 2.5 STi!!!!!!!!!!!
You need ILFR7H - which is the same plug as used on Lancer EVO 9 - it is a longer thread (7mm longer afair) as the PFR7B's aren't long enough to go into the 2.5 head and into the Combustion Chamber.
Hope it's not tooo late for you.

Agreed - once you consider the work that Clark put into getting the car looking as they do................. its actually amazing value for money.
I have no hesitation in recommending him VERY HIGHLY ( Mine and the wifes cars will be having the PB treatment this summer)
-
yup its looking like i will be keeping it now (thank f**k), only reason i was selling it was due to getting paid off three monthds ago, but im back offshore just now and things look to be picking up again
GREAT NEWS Dunk!!! - glad to hear you can keep the engine..................................... you were costing me a fortune
-
Just a slightly oversized 2.2 with a Small Garrett Turbo and some mildly played with heads
Probably a consistent 450 in there................................... somewhere
-
She's been running since December last year Peter.............................................. I'm just too busy making money to play.
So your saying that all the time your block was with Chy and your car was off the road wasn't to do with engine/head issues? Just on the hunt for more power...................... addictive isn't it.

People seems to have been having problems with the CDB 2.5 (lack of cooling area causing HG failure, lifted heads, etc - just ask the man above)
2.1 will make a great track engine when combined with the V3 heads/cams but speak to Steve Whitson @ SW Engineering and he'll build you a 1st class 2.35 or 2.4......................... as good as the CBD 2.5 but with no issues.
A John Felstead Baffled Sump ( or the Lateral Performance version from Mark) will cure any Oil issues you may have - worth every penny.

Well at least it was nothing major James............................................... I hear Ali had a less eventful day

Professor - you'll get used to Peter.................................... try not to take it too personally.

Alan - never realised you were down here (I'm on a rig up off Barrow Island - Northern end of WA - for Amerada Hess) - you in or around Perth by chance?
Couple of the guys on the rig run WRX's and they all seems amazed to read what we're doing to these cars on here as they are - as you rightly stated - screwed for any minor mod these days on a road car.
1/2 expected you to be in a Maloo actually....................................... or a Grange edtition HSV
