Still trying to figure out from reading this post why the extra boost is giving more BHP? More torque undoubtedly but I thought BHP and top end power was more down to Ignition Advance.
AND how Peters ECU gave more advance due to better cooling........................on a FMIC that was already there and will be cooling the charge to within 2-3 degrees of Ambient anyway, I would have though that if the Run was done on a cooler day, that might explain it.
Still, well done to Peter in getting such a good result. I'm sure Mr Orkney would love to get his on an R/R just to see what it puts out..........................I might even be open to the suggestions of funding his travel to WP for an R/R run. I think the result might be impressive. If a certain ex-owner of the car is right on the money with his power figures, then Mr Orkneys car may actually be the top car.
Hopefully, we'll find out soon.
