  1. Just a little bored and us "sheep fondlers" thought we'd do a "Gumball" after all its a free country and if Gumball can stir it up, why can't we? Legitimate question, if you don't like it, fine. SIMPLE. Russell
  2. 399.5 is not 400.....or did they not teach you Maths at school. Russell (stirring it up again)
  3. David, you hit the nail on the head there M8! - Its all about Charge temp control and safety margins/Knock control. Russell
  4. A word of warning - Oil Pressure and Exhaust temperature sensors will cost you around 160 UKP to your door. Seeing that the price of these are already at +/- 220 UKP this makes the cost of these 380 UKP + Shipping + Taxes. Thats B4 anyone else bids on them. Plus you'll notice that the front of the pod has a clip snapped of it. RATTLE TIME!!!!!!!!! Food for thought? Russell
  5. I just need to get home so I can pick up the latest "delivery" from Ron that arrived last week[] 17 days just cannot pass quickly enough! Russell
  6. TBH - the Bugeyes ecu can control the voltage level to the Fuel Pump and hence control the pumps output looking ofr more than around the 360 mark, it would be a good idae to get one. Less than that, run the OE one but reverse the fuel flow path. EITHER WAY, UPRATE THE FUEL PUMP! and remember that WRX380cc injectors are going to limit TOP END power! Russell
  7. REPLIED M8! Russell
  8. I would have got Ron @ Axis to Swain Coat the sides of the pistons as well Higgy - cuts down on the noise as well as other "benefits"[] Russell
  9. Trust me M8 - she knows her way round a Scoob pretty well now. I can place ANY part of a scoob in front of her and she'll tell me where it came from. Quite a long way from the girl I married 3 years ago! Russell ps - just trying to work out her pay scale as my new Apprentice!
  10. They arrived a couple of days ago!and I only just found out you had picked up the car. I asked Angela if you asked about the parts and she replied that you just picked up the car and said you'll "catch up with me later"? Like I said M8 - If you want Simon @ JP to do the work then I'll get everything ready for you when I get home and you can pick it all up and take it all over to him.
  11. OK Chris - I'll set one of them aside for you! Russell
  12. Chris - I have 4 coming in with the next Defi order (BIG!) - but I won't be back in the UK for 3 weeks so, to be honest, it'll have to wait until I get home to ship it out to you. Is that OK? Can't be helped M8, if only you had asked me 2 weeks ago when I was thinking of doing an order. I only ordered them 2 days ago! Russell
  13. I know M8 - I have edited the above post as I have you confused with someone else[:$] Russell
  14. PM Craig Mac or Clutdav as I supplied and fitted their kits for them including the OE Defi pod which needed painting. They have hi-res pictures that you can loo at and see what you are getting! Russell pps - Craig, has the wife spoken to you about the AVCR yet! - I haven't managed to speak to her for a few days now[]
  15. Didn't ask the "right person" then, did you? (think about it!) Russell (spare set in ABZ that I know of!)
  16. In that case....forget the STi5/6/P1 heads as you'll need a Phase II Inlet Manifold and need to rewire the TPS and re-route the ISCV, etc. Best thing for you is V3 STi heads. They'll use your existing Phase I Inlet and they have by far the "lairyest" cams out on an STi ( biggest lift AND duration). Ideal for you! Russell
  17. BUMMER! - I get back the same Thursday you leave. Can't really help you until I return I am afraid[] Let me know what you decide to do! Russell
  18. What age is the car? Russell
  19. Yes M8 - I have one here. Playsatan expressed an interest in it but he has not confirmed so if you want it then it is yours! 50 for the kit. You need it fitted? Russell
  20. IAN GODNEY AT GODSPEED IS THE CULPRIT! Anyone who wants more information on this subject as I don't want a slander suit slapped on me..........PM me! Russell
  21. Still trying to figure out from reading this post why the extra boost is giving more BHP? More torque undoubtedly but I thought BHP and top end power was more down to Ignition Advance. AND how Peters ECU gave more advance due to better cooling........................on a FMIC that was already there and will be cooling the charge to within 2-3 degrees of Ambient anyway, I would have though that if the Run was done on a cooler day, that might explain it. Still, well done to Peter in getting such a good result. I'm sure Mr Orkney would love to get his on an R/R just to see what it puts out..........................I might even be open to the suggestions of funding his travel to WP for an R/R run. I think the result might be impressive. If a certain ex-owner of the car is right on the money with his power figures, then Mr Orkneys car may actually be the top car. Hopefully, we'll find out soon. Russell
  22. No M8 - he never got back to me so I'll be leaving this until I get back in 4 weeks. My brakes (and Acids hoses) are STILL NOT HERE! Russell
  23. We'll let it go M8. Water under the (ERSKINE) bridge[:|] Russell
  24. You started it! (surprisingly enough)[] but you have made some valid points in your last post. We'll leave it at that. END OF![Y] Russell
