  5. If the service is done after the car warranty ends, I MIGHT KNOW SOMEONE WHO CAN SORT OUT THE 30K SERVICE FOR £250 USING FULLY SYNTHETIC OILS! Can't think of his name right now but it'll come to me[] Russell
  6. Both cars are known to me[] Kate Black (now owns a MY07 Spec D) and her son Stuart (Blue Sti 8...........used to be his mums!) DON'T MESS WITH STU'S CAR..................THE MODS I'VE DONE ON HIS CAR WILL MAKE YOUR FEEL LIKE A BOG-STANDARD WRX! Russell
  7. I woul think carefully before setting the fuel pressure at 20psi................VERY CAREFULLY! Hopefully Wilky made a typo error there. Russell
  8. Nice! Russell
  9. Barstewards have to let me off this bloody thing first. Then I may - EVENTUALLY - get home! I'll let all the relevant people know when I finally get through the front door.........and the wifes underwear[] Russell
  10. Marc - they work but I've just not had the time to reply in a nicey-nicey way as I am waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too pi$$ed off with things out here right now - AND TO TOP IT OFF, MY RELIEF AIN'T COMING TOMORROW SO I HAVE TO STAY! Russell ps I have a contact in the US that can sort you out with a set of those Prodrive wheels if you need some?
  11. Whilst I agree the boots would look the dogs! - she's only allowed the babygrow because a M8 bought it for her Christmas. Boots would never be allowed...................well maybe at a cost to me (read EXPENSIVE JEWELLRY as compensation!) Wait till Angie finds out about the Cosworth thats about to appear on the driveway! ( I'm only home 5 1/2 months of the year and we now have: 1 Cosworth, 1 Scoob, 1 Range Rover...and Angie has an X3) God, it's tough have to work abroad and survive on the poverty line Russell
  12. One of Marks MD321's will be perfect............................but it'll need to be the MD321T as the MD 321H will only make around 410hp. Best OE fitment turbo out there TBH ( I wonder what's going on mine?) Russell
  13. BLIMEY! - I don't remember Erin being that big! Still - I havent seen her since last year so who knows [] Russell
  14. Some of us more often than others........................................some of us haven't changed their Oil in a year..................then again there hasn't been an engine in the car to put Oil into[]
  15. Since when was fitting the STI8/9 TMIC difficult? It's fiddly but I've done 3 of these now onto MY99- cars and it's 3 hours work MAX!. Great value for money and just needs a fettle on the Scoop undertray - plus it looks so OE! I'd speak to Carl Davey about the undertray as he's designed and had fabricated an undertray that is exactly for this purpose. Russell
  16. Yeah but 55psi is approx 3.8 bar and assumin that was set as a static pressure and he's maxing out the STi "pinks" (565?) on a 20G then your talking a lot of power going through a WRX block. Ticking time bomb? Might just be one of the breather hoses! but I doubt it. Get it looked at and let us know the diagnosis. Russell
  17. Craig, hush now! - can't go giving the ABZ secrets away to the "enemy" M8[] Russell
  18. You can now, Stephen...................... Can you guess who? [H] Russell
  19. Age and model of car please! Russell
  20. hint - make sure to open the fuel flap and remove the fuel cap b4 you remove the fuel lines from the top of the tank.....limits spillage hardest part of removing all the insides to get to the tank lid 1 hours start to finish! FINALLY - IF YOU CAN .......USE THE ORIGINAL FILTER, NOT THE NEW ONE SUPPLIED WITH THE FTTING KIT! Russell
  21. Up to around the 360 mark the 2.5" DP would be better for the car as an all pound package but abov ethis the 2.5" system starts to choke the top end ability of the turbo it's bolted onto. VF35 is at its peak around here and so for a VF35, I'd stick with a 2.5" reduced DP but fit a 3" system so that if you want to upgrade the turbo. you'll only need a new DP. Please also remember that the 3" DP will impede the spoolup and" fun factor" of the VF35 (P15 housing) so choose carefully! Russell
  22. Glad you got it sorted out Pete, It would have been a shame to have to travel 5000 miles just so I could change a fuse! Russell
  23. Only issue with getting Defi's off Ebay is that you have no way of sorting out a warranty claim if something fails. Otherwise its the cheapest place to get them. Russell
  24. Blitz NO, NO, NO! Doesn't filter out diddle squat in terms of what the K&N and Apexi can do. Apexi or K&N is just what you need, I know of a K&N induction kit from a 98 RA going for sale! £45 I think he wants. It's only done 15K. Russell
  25. Defi BF's + POD (painting to colour of your choice is included) +controller = £545. Russell
