<< He went into Snuffies too fast near the end of the day, went off the track to the lefthand side, came back across to the right onto the grass and went sideways into the tyre wall. The car then flipped onto it's roof on the tyres. He's ok though, few cuts from broken glass, whiplash and some bruising. He was lucky it hit passenger side on as that side of the car was destroyed (and I was also lucky to get out a few laps before to take some pictures). Hence why comments about "flat" peugeots etc aren't funny. Especially from people who would rather stand around and spectate than participate. >>
Jesus! I was only pissing about man, no need for that FFS!
I do think he was very lucky and its a crying shame to see any car like that. Ive loved cars all my life, I was brought up with Motorsport in my veins thanks to my dad (who incidentally is now the clerk of the course up there on track days) I have been involved with rallies, marshalling and timekeeping etc for years so please dont think I dont give a sh1t!
I would dearly love to have a go myself, but...
A. I freely admit my driving skills wouldnt be upto it
B. I have worked hard to afford my pride and joy and would be devastated if I even got so much of a scratch on my it etc...
C. Knowing me I'd probably get the 'red mist' on instantly and make a complete mess of the car/myself/other people etc!
Apologies for the flippant remark, but I was merely trying to make a dark situation a little lighter!
Err dudes! >>
Sorry Mark, I obviously got the wrong end of the stick on that comment (a very long stick too I think)) please accept my apologies
Morning all dudes
