About Dangermouse

  1. Been stupidly busy mate, working in the centre of Bristol now although I've also set up my own business, so hopefully I wont be a wage slave for much longer!! No sign of another Impreza yet, unfortunately I'm a little stuck in that I can't afford the tax to run one as a company car and if I'm going to have a second car then I really want something with no roof ( a Chimera is favourite at the moment!!) Did I hear through the grapevine that you've got a different car now?
  2. Periodically I have been known to strap myself in the workman's seat and tell the bloke with the pedals where to go. The Sunseeker is a round of our stage championship therefore I would imagine that we'll be out, whether or not I'll be co-driving will be decided a bit nearer the time. I've been a rally co-driver for about 5 years now, both on stage and road events, also do a few trackdays as Edmondo will testify to (I gave him some instruction at Castle Combe a couple of years ago) Basically motorsport is my life!! yep you did - still waiting for the DVD Derek Funny you should mention that Ed, I'm in the process currently of building myself a PC that will allow me to turn all of my DV camera footage into DVDs I actually watched your laps last week whilst I was cataloging what was on each of the tapes I have.

  4. Will be competing on this I expect, y'all be sure to come and say hello
  5. It was a cracking day, (even if the auction did cost me a fortune!!) As a former SIDC member I have to say that the stand, members and cars looked really professional. Hopefully it was worth the effort for you.
  6. I was talking to D R at the end of the day on Saturday, he said that he'd love to build it, they had 50+ potential deposits when they first showed it, it's just down to making the economics work. Here's hoping.
  7. I'll be there, quite happy to sit alongside anyone who would like me to do so - I'll wear some trousers that fit next time though!!
  8. Did those from here that went to Prodrive Live on Saturday have a good day? Spotted several SIDC stickered cars in pride of place in front of the main building. I thought it was a top day.
  9. Well I certainly had fun!! It was great to see all the SWS faces again and passengering Ed around the track at 4.30 in the pouring rain was great. Only slightly sideways eh Ed?!!
  10. Was a complete load of rubbish, but had plenty of eye candy in it, so was worth a watch !!
  11. I'll be there with car 35 as service / management I think. Any pics (it's a blue 1400cc Corsa) would be well appreciated, the owner / driver's an SIDC member, but doesn't post on here- he owns an Ex Richard Burns Prodrive classic.
  12. If you want a truly local service, try CAMS on 07710 342841 The owner is a Scooby driver and does all my MOT's and quite a lot of our company work, highly recommended and he's in Chippenham, so local for you as well. If you call him, tell him Derek sent you!!
  13. I know it's slightly late, but I have no access to the Interweb at home yet and have only just gone back to work. That said, hope you all had a good Christmas and New Year and I look forward to meeting up again soon.
