Simple Minds with Bono at the Barras in the mid 80s! The WHOLE place bounced. The Alarm on Xmas eve round about then was also a special moment with The Proclaimers making their first appearance. They had to fill in for The Alarm as they were doing a live TOTP in London before flying to Glasgow. The boys got booed so bad at the start but it's the only support group I have EVER seen doing an encore!! Then The Alarm turned up and handed out bottles of champagne to the front row!
