  1. Dougster if I can persaude my mate to squeeze it in to the passenger side (provided he hasnt got one) of his elise then he might take it back up to Aberdeen and I can drop it off at Westhill for you. I will ask Iain

I will give him the cash before he leaves for KH. He'll be there in his silver S2 elise, reg plate reading ** EGO. Gordon I take it you will have the leveling plugs ect for Del by the time he comes to pick the lights up? Iain
  4. Very nice Mark , now go get it chipped! Star Performance are the guys to go to for VAG tuning, had a fair bit of experience with them as I was a former seat owner. Iain
  5. Cheers. Just a thought, are you going to be at knockhill this Saturday? I wont be there but my friend will be and I could arange to give cash to him and you could pass the lights on? Failing that maybe one of the Glasgow peeps might be heading up in this direction soon? Iain

  7. << next to Zoo's, boardmeetings, outside police stations, gay pride events, on oil rigs, indoors, chemical factories, ammunition dumps. these are all places the allow the lighting of fireworks, what they do ask is that you use safety matches and never point them at each other. hope this helps? >> LOL
  8. << How about up the ar*e of that woman he just got sent down for putting her cat in the washing machine coz it scratched her. I hope she gets punched in the back of the head several times daily when she's in the klink. Not really answering your question Iain, sorry, but i feel better for getting that off my chest. >> I agree though, my cat can be a pest at times but i would never put her in the washing machine!!
  9. I touch goats mate ********** Edited, my offer was for the lights mate. Having a blonde day
  10. That sucks, this sort of crime seems to be on the rise. Have read of quite a few cases on SN recently. Although admittedly those have been professional jos, i.e entire bootlid removed. One guy had his bootlid and carbon bonet removed while it was parked on his drive over night. Alarm was tampered with to stop it going off I only hope that if any theiving scvm try to steal mine that it breaks before they remove it! Iain
  11. Actually I do but they're all out at Alford and I cant really be bothered with the drive out there just to let off some fireworks. I think I have found a location away from houses ect and not too far from where I work. Will need to go check it out. Failing that I had thought down the beach if it isnt too windy. Plenty sand down there too! Iain
  12. That tw@t was in max power last month with a pic of him sideways on that motorway. good skills, keep it on the track though. Idiot Iain
  13. << << My girlfriend, myself and a few friends and they're kids were going to get some fireworks for bonfire night this year but all of us live in flats or houses where we have either communal gardens or other houses/flats in close proximity. So the question is, where can you go to let fireworks off legally? I was thinking of finding a park or playing feild somewhere but even then I'm not sure if thats ok? Iain >> Hong Kong Grant >> Ha ha, not a bad idea Paul, I forgot to add that I also have pets. If I didnt I care about my pets or other people's then I would go let them off in my back garden. Hence why Im trying to find out what the law is.
  14. Nah we werent going to be having a bonfire. Just a small group of us with a couple of kids. Iain

  16. My appologies. I didnt realise you had de-catted the up pipe. I dont think the up pipe cat is the most restrictive part so cant seeyour output being much more than cal with the downpipe cat still in. Worth doing regardless if you're planning on upping the boost as it all counts. Also the up pipe cat can crack with the increase in boost and get sucked through the fins in the turbo. Ouch. Think thats only on big power cars though. Correct me if Im wrong tho. Iain
  17. Same as Cal, as thats the mods he has done. 250 bhp Iain
  18. You should de-tango though. What a difference it makes. Who's fitting your defi's? Lovely gauges, would like some myself. Iain
  19. << This is smokescreen. He came from the planet cybertron millions of years ago. >> LOL, I've got the same transformer. Took me ages to figure out how to turn it back into a subaru! My kitty, DJ - Sorry about the size, dont have anything here at work to re-size it. Iain
  20. Nice cars mate. First one sounds as good as it looks Not sure about the colour of the westy but nice none the less! You dont have to stick it in the oven, I've heard if you stick them in front of a fan heater it will soften the mastic enough for you to separate the lense and remove the tango (need silver inicator bulbs)! I still havent got round to doing mine, give me a shout when you're thinking about it and I'll do mine at the same time. Iain
  21. Stephen you're bang on, full de-cat, panel filter and re-map should see you in the region of 270/280bhp. 20-30 bhp comibined, from up/down pipe. Iain
  22. Good report Cal You'll need to take me out for a blast sometime Iain
  23. Sorry, have my panic heed on today Hope you're right Iain
  24. Noticed this on sunday after driving through a rather large puddle at around 40mph. When turning left and accelerating, I occasionally get a sort of clunking almost vibrating sort of sound under the car. If you drew a line from the gear stick down, thats roughly where it sounded like it was coming from. Its difficult to locate as it doesnt happen very often and not for very long. It usually happens exiting roundabouts (turning left) when you get a change in transition. Even then its probably only once a day this happens if that. Had the car up on a ramp on Saturday not long after this happened for the first time but couldnt spot anything obvious. Drive shafts at the front have no or very little play in them, nothing seems to be hanging down? Am worried this is going to be an expensive one. Any idea's folks? Iain
  25. Cal, you got those hoses on yet? If so, notice any difference in power at all? Iain
