Just a thought about his show.As there is going to be a big turn out. I`m sure there is someone who could do a report on the show and get some good pics and send it off to true grip and try and get it in there. Be good to see the Cambridge crew in there and get more people to know we have a growing group as well. Any volunteers???

It was a great day. Amazing how quick they really are. You car is damm quick. Thought you were coming into the back of me at 1 point on the way back Only probem with the day is that I now look like a PANDA!!!!! Put my pics over in general discussion.

Tuesday 24th June 7:30pm The Plough Fen Ditton Do you know where that is???

I know we have our fish and chip run but shall we still have a meet at the Plough next week. As there are few who cant` make it plus there are a few nexbies about who might come to a meet.. What do other people think??

Do you know which services they mean then??? If so shall we meet them there if it`s not too far out of our way??

Glad you enjoyed it - we spent a lot of time organising it and thinking back to our first track days to work out what would be the 'best' way to introduce the circuit. We decided that driving around the track and getting out and chatting at the corners about braking, turning, apex points etc would help calm the nerves and give the most info. I know Rachel enjoyed opening mine out on the straights but didnt push it through the corners (sorry if we held anyone up) but was holding the lines pretty well. Once the driving lines are right then the speed will come (or it would if I gave her another chance to drive the car on track [] ) For me, it was a frustrating evening cos I just wanted to be out there driving but so pleased that we had so many virgins out there and hopefully we have broken down the fear of track days for them and whetted their appetite for more [] I'm glad that rain held off too - it was horrendous driving home in that [:S] A big thank you for organising the event. I really enjoyed it. I found it to be a very professional night. The driving round the track chatting about the corners really settled my nerves. Once i got started I found all the nerves had gone. Did not realise it would as physically hard as that. I can see myself doing more track days. Of course they will be big power days. I can see this turning into a expensive hobby. Once again a big thnaks to you and all the big power team[Y]

Cheers for the tips. Just 1 question is there a petrol station nearby for fuel and to do tyre pressures??? Really looking forward to it. Kinda nervous at the same time.
