  1. yes the interpols scotland liason officer has been awarded the Victoria Cross for singlehandidly building an engine from scratch using nothing but the assistance of books found lying about in his masters workshop, and parts he found lying about. As DC Scoob said, it could have been a stray goat that caused this,
  2. That does indeed sound plausable but i shall wait for the genius quentioning mastermind that is known only as ......... FAI 17 (P.I, V.D, S.T.D, X.Y.Z) to turn up on the scene. [] Yes i should have possibly taken the advice of SOCO before i announced my speculation or indeed waited for Scotlands entire gold commander DCC P. Lee (vc) who im sure would have given a better de-briefing having of course witnessed many a similar RTA whilst riding shotgun in Andy F's car between scenes
  3. looks like they were going large, spun out, tail end hit the fence and carried on going along the thing DCI Gumball investigates
  4. cheers guys. Peter, your an awful man for wanting to go the commercial route (says me with the APS fmic) but what i mean is.....andy forrest lives up the road and has a vast array of new blowers. Bill Greer has a very special one available that contains bearings. RCM are good when you need something snazzy but trust me.....you pay for it. You might be better going to local guys for bolt on turbos than special kits from places down south. G
  5. yeah i ordered one from japan and then saw the RCM vent and thought "I WANT THAT ONE" in a little britain voice. the icelandic scoob is a machine !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  6. Welcome home. The Falcon and the deathstar are getting mapped on the same day !!!!!!!! this is going to be mighty purdy not long till the b roads are ripped once again
  7. i will get the spray set up again in teh future. the APS dr725 in silver mighty fine. some say it is a heavy bit of kit. what i took off teh bumer in weight will balance out[]
  8. says the man who cant see out his mirrors but look cool. this will allow cold air to be rammed into the fmic and the hot air will rise out through the carbon slats. no lingering about causing a heat nuisance. the fact that the hardpipes for the fmic are visible also add to the show and shine effect[8-|]
  9. yeah its on but tucked behing my grille for protection against large boulders etc. might just take it off though.
  10. good idea. get some cash and start a company that sells throwaway brollies from vending machines near the toilets in pubs and clubs. call it "why should u kill yourself AND get wet?" Fagbrolly
  11. RCM sent me the carbon fibre bonnet scoop i ordered from them the other day and i went out in the rain and fitted it to the deathstar. Unbolted the sti scoop and took the splitter off the inside. Cut the I/C spray hose and disconnected the pump. The new flat (air out) scoop looks nice and will sook that nasty hot air right back out to where it should be- anywhere other than the sanfransisco bay[]
  12. correct answer. Knocklink- £140? Fitting- £30 Oooooh the car seems to be fine as it pulls the way it should and theres no red lights on- you say OR Oooooh thats a nice xmas tree i can see on my dashboard, i think ill take my car to the ecu doctor who will rematch the fuel, air, boost and make it safe for you. PowerFC- £i dont know sorry, maybe £500? Free fitting lol now you have spent either £170 or £670 and your cars not going to blow up £60 will also get you a nice oil change with some good 10/60 or 15/50 and stop the dirty stuff blocking your pump and meaning you can spend your 3k on your holiday or your kids cigarettes for a year instead of a big end replacement
  13. With regards to how i know my cars not happy- I have a knocklink fitted to the underside of the dash. The car already has one but this acts as a visual aid for my own reference to know if something is wrong. The car runs on optimax with octane booster and has been mapped for this. If the car gets fuel that it doesnt appreciate then the internal knock picks up small signs of danger/det and retards the map. This is a very clever measure taken by the ecu to back off until it gets the octane levels it needs to function again at the high levels of menace/boost/force your driving the car at. A few tanks of clean/the right fuel and this will come back to normal. This varies from car to car. Mine takes longer than i would like to return but there you go. I guess...and i was exactly the same way when i first got my car, that people live in fear of losing warranty or changing the ecu on their car incase it all goes terribly wrong. I bought this scoob for 20k, thought it was nice and quick, and it was tbh. running 320/310 from the dealership. Then when i overcame my fear (almost) and took it to andy forrest for a remap and more power.........he found the car wasnt safe at all and had been boosting too high and the air fuel ratio was wild child. So, and i would say this all the time- "taking your car to Andy Forrest will make your car safer, give you better power delivery and if you decide your still unhappy or scared then get the map taken off"
  14. aye have a good time. any danger of telling me if you want these injectors or not before you go?? If i dont hear from you im going to sell them this week
  15. i remember being taken out at KH by one of the instructors in one of them minus the snazzy pimped rims. a big luxury cruising machine. if ots the same one i didnt even realise it was turned on it was so quiet
  16. im sure you wont be in the upside down one mate. we might seem as if we are flying through space though after project catsback is finished in the coming weeks.[] 10mins with no upside down views will be the call of the day on August 9th
  17. loling at wilky, loling at me, loling at warby, loling at andy, loling at GT and drinking the whole bottle of wine between the 5 of us and pumping the neighbours dog
  18. i know that the bridgestones from what i have seen and heard can be naughty for tramlining. i use toyo R's and dont have any of that behaviour. there seem to be plenty of peeps that like the bridgestones so im sure you could sell them once you have the new rubber fitted and release the true ability of these cars
  19. i was going to stop but then i thought.....no farking way. why should i? i actually enjoy smoking like a bandits barrel and giving gordon the burglar brown 70% tax goat fell
  20. lol @ Andy lol @ warby lollong at andy lol
  21. I was reading through this site below and looking at all the laser jammers, detectors, speed cameras, law, actions you can take to escape being convicted and police comments about all of the above. I thought a few times when reading the site over the last hour perhaps about posting up a link for a jammer or a gps gadget or various other things that would help us if we were going to fast. The link below offers no help for going to fast other than not doing it to begin with, which if we are ALL honest with ourselves................we ALL ignore at some point and take the car above the mandatory 30, 40, 50, 60, 70 or 100. Here is the one link/page that personally drives home (excuse the pun) the real dangers of thinking A) we are a bit wide and maybe better than we are we can go fast and everything will be OK C) both of the above Heres the link-http://www.ukspeedtraps.co.uk/death1.htm
  22. aye the roads are very stressful at times. I hate to think how the roads would seem to an elderly woman, a pregnant woman or someone else who may be vulnarable. Today as an example i was driving along the M74 towards strathclyde park roundabout to head home and some banger and i mean a real tosspot in his 40's driving a silver mondeo SC03MLW starts coming right up behind me. He then swerved out in front of someone, cut them up and then drove up another cars chorus till he got to the roundabout. at this point i pulled alongside and asked him if he always drove like a goat humper. his response was the finger as he braveley sped away. My car stayed off boost, i stayed seated and he remained a crazed peadophile into the sunset. Well Mr SC03MLW.............next time your not expecting it, the stealth astra will pull alongside you block u in, and then your teas out. pr8ck
  23. does the box belong to the RAC?
  24. i think you should still look down the route of the standard STI turbo to get you over the 300 mark with exceptional spool up and ease. Im sure some one will have one for about 300quid
