The 2005 Gumball 3000 Rally (the ?Event?) takes place between 14th ? 22th May. The Event follows a 3000 mile route that begins in London and travels to Dubrovnik (Croatia) via the capital cities of Brussels (Belgium), Prague (Czechoslovakia), Vienna (Austria) and Budapest (Hungary). Then across the Adriatic Sea to Italy for a lap of Sicily following the route of the infamous Targa Florio Race. The route then heads to Rome for a major party then re-traces part of the Mille Miglia before finishing in Monaco for the Formula 1 Grand Prix. THEN THERES A PURE DEAD MENTAL RUN TO CRAIL VIA KINCARDINE BRIDGE!!!! There are NO categories and the event is open to all makes, models and years of vehicle. Places are limited to just 100 cars, so we can?t guarantee availability ? but the more amazing or eccentric the car ? the better the chance! WR BLUE STI'S WITH GUMBALL STICKERS AND AW THAT HAVE FIRST REFUSAL. STICK ON SCOOPS ARE JUDGED ACCORDINGLY. The entry fee per vehicle based on two (2) persons in the vehicle is £10,000 GBP. Additional passengers and/or co-drivers pay a fee of £5000 GBP per person. The entry fee for your vehicle and any additional fees for additional passengers and/or co-drivers are due and payable within 14 days of completion and submission of your Registration Document or 30 days prior to the commencement of the Event whichever is the earlier.

S6CUB.......... Its important that i say, i turned up with an STI with a couple of GUMBALL3000 stickers on it. What happened next wasnt my doing. Frasers intercooler got a bit overheeted and he started getting carried away with himself!!!!! a bit. I found his antics hilarious and agreed that no doubt encouraged him? I was thinking about you enduring that on the way home again. quite amusing, but im sorry for instigating a headache for you.

Yes, todays run to crail and back was fantastic!!! Very similair in some respects to last weekends mayhem if you know what i mean? Great blast there and back, whilst obviously observing the speed limit. good to meet more people and let the gumball machine out its cage (swiggi) totally shattered when i got back to glasgow, but excellent fun all day. cant wait to see the footage.

i feel better after that post. since spince got his car nicked i have been very anxious indeed and have constant trouble sleeping with the thought of bams stealing my sti. i have employed fierce measures this week including stop locks, in fact im not going to say. But hiding the keys and knowing that its a hard car to steal makes me feel much better.

2 points. 1. living near parkhead, i struggled with rage to get anywhere yesterday afternoon in search for locking nuts. this was due to that mob learning to drive as they went to the game. tests and lucky bags springs to mind. 2. it gives the queens eleven assistance in reigning supreme again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thanks jambos

Guys I dont know if im being cheeky posting for sale notes in here, however i bought an HKS dump valve about a week ago paying £300 on the button. Again i dont want to bore folk anymore than usual but im very wary of incidents with my new STI and want to personally keep everything prodrive etc. To that end after using the valve 4 times since last week i am selling it for £250!!!!!!! So, if anyone fancies a great sounding valve realistically brand new for a saving of £50 then leave a post or PM me and we'll sort it out. What you will get is a nearly new valve cheaper and without the postage fees i paid 8 days ago. Unless of course you live Newton Stewart, castle douglas or clatteringshaws. cheers for your help Chris P

dont do it man!!! I recently blew my wrx up and traded down to a golf GTI. After 7 wks i had enough and got an STI. What im trying to say is that its a top car, which you could seriously regret selling after a very short period of time. Dont Do IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! nothing else competes with these weapons

Grant, i just bought an HKS sqv for the new STI last week before the MMO on Sunday. I went to Nobles in Penicuilk to ask about my shagged gearstick and they said.............."if you want to take my advice son...take the valve off". He reckoned it made the car run lean and wasnt worth the hassle for a swooshing noise! If you can give me advice, which i know will be correct then i may take it off and flog it
