A few pictures from today

I was told to run my new 2.5 STI in @ max revs of 4,000rpm for 1,000 Miles then it gets its first service.

Going on Sunday as well. Got some picture on display on a stand, to promote the ANEMMC Rally Championship.

A few years ago my mate took his MK1 Escort Rally car to Cadwell Park for a corperate day, taking the local Land Rover Dealer's customers for a couple of laps of the track. Most of which were Farmers but some of the horror stories he got about the break downs and the afterservice they got from Land rover were rearly bad. I was there helping to strap them into the passenger seat, one of which was a little lady 50+ who we all thoght would come back white as a sheet & shacking but on arrival back into the paddock with a big smile and enquiring could she go out again later. When she was out of ear shot we all asked my mate did you take it easy, his reply was no we were side ways round the corners and flat out down Park Straight. A mate of mine has one,this is his second as the brakes failed on the first & Land Rover replaced it. In the swap over the dealers messed up changing his private reg over, all sorted now. Lets say it is used as true off roader as he owns a quarry and when i first saw the Range Rover it looked like it had just finished a 4x4 rally & it was less than a week old.

I have just fitted a set to my 06 STI, the main reason being i found the REO70's a bit of a problem on the wet country lanes near where i live ( very little grip) I was told that they are a good allround Tyre for grip & wear, have now done 500 miles with no problems. I will look to buy some more wheels & tyres (REO70's) in the spring and keep the Pilot Sport 2 for winter

Solberg reporting a broken steering rack on ss11& lost some time on ss12. Listening to rally radio on WRC.com live on stage as its free this weekend as ford have paid for it to celebrate them winning the manufactures championship

Yes Jimmy did win,]" src="/emoticons/emotion-5.gif"> looked as though Jeremy Easson was going to win but had problems on last stage and ended up finishing 3rd after leading for most of the Rally

Rallitrak is a tracking device fitted in the cars so they can be tracked in stage in case one goes of between radio cars

Find it hard to belive that Chandlers didn't want to know, i have all ways got a very well looked after by Jason in there service department. Ok my car was supplied by them from new, but have been looking to change it and they were out on price i was looking for but they still wanted to look after the new car even if brought from anther dealer. Who did you speak to at Chandlers?
