  1. :( always the same problem for me regardless of forum - weeknights equals working away somewhere remote! is attending meets a good enough reason to change jobs?

on another note, nice to hear your making the P1 standard as possible - too many being modded to death these days, cough Ciaran, cough..... :smiley-taunt014:

  2. how you doing Chris, long time no see! P1 still keeping you happy? genuine question Chris, are the .net meets weekend or weeknight and are they meets or runs? I dont post often on there, no problem with the guys but never really given a warm welcome alas :(

  3. another great day at Kames - shame about the nanny state naighbours but such is life lol

as always great banter, good turnout and sooo much fun - if you havent been yet what are you waiting for! :)

  4. ooft, good job that didnt happen on the fling Alun!! definitely time for your rebuild project I think - with lots of lctite :P

Lewis, a rover? really? just when I think you cant get any gayer..... :icon_flower:

aye aye Rich, what sort of X5 you got? flash git lol

  5. yea youl be fine with the wrap, give it a couple of decent runs and itl stop smoking - crapped myself when mine was first done lol

turbo blankets apparently work quite well, but get a decent one

Teins are very good kit but just too stiff for me

enjoy all the changes, glad you kept the beastie ;)

  6. Lewis I take it Aluns will be side injectors rather than top like mine?

I think your looking at the right idea Alun, keep what youve got and rebuild for power and strength :)

Gearbox killer is the torque from 2.5's anything over 350lb ft on a 5 speed is a time bomb I believe - is it a wrx RA engine you have? if so then the 2000 sti sounds a good bet, will let you rev a bit higher :)

  7. get to it Matty! :)

As ever was an absolute blast, thanks to Davie and Sharon for the maps, the Royal and Altnaharra hotels for hosting it and for all of you guys for coming! especially Don and Matty making the big trek up north - Don's sti is lovvverly! :D

Standard of driving was great, noise levels through the roof and even those that dropped out with car/engine failures still seemed to leave with a smile on their faces - hope you all get issues resolved/cars replaced

And look forward to seeing you all again next year - bring a friend.... :Scottish-flag:
