<< Knock control on the pre 98 ECU's is somewhat suspect, whether chipped or not. The Power FC can be set to flash the check engine light to warn of any knock taking place, saves buying a knocklink ! Another thing to consider is the residual value of an Apexi Power FC which is a complete replacement ECU. Typically they still sell for £400+ secondhand. Andy >> Thanks for the info Andy

My m8 Marc29 needs to get a remap for his STI V4. What can he gat and how much and where? Does he need to get a new ECU like Apexi Power FC?? It's a 1998 S reg. Can he get a ECUTEK remap by AndyF??? Much help is required please. Big thanks to replies. Thank you
