  4. Congrats to ALL the entries in the show n shine, everyone's cars were of a very high standard picking a winner must be very difficult. Thanks also the the SIDC stand organisers ,top job[] I must admit I found the layout of the show a bit odd apart from SIDC and MLR most other groups had all sorts of cars all over the place, looked more like a car park than a display of different makes. Still had a good day though

  16. cheers, ive been on phone to combe and it seems they have moved us again! i will not know until tomorrow as to where exactly we are! i will be going to combe so i know where to direct you! I hope we are not parked at the same place as jap fest[]
  17. I think our numbers are upto around 18 now, so as you know.
  18. Its worth making a mental note to yourself to take it easy next time it rains as the roads WILL be slippery until all the binder has had a chance to wear off back to the aggreagate, or be ready to catch the back end when it breaks lose[]
  19. With the hot weather we are having at the moment the surface can bleed causing the binder to come to the surface and form a smooth finish. This once the hot weather has passed will go hard and form a slippery road surface in the wet as the road surface will have no texture. The spreading of stone dust /sand will bed into the soft surface providing grip and texture so that drivers and bikers hopfully wont go flying off the road the next time it rains. So they are not tossers[] just doing what is best for the public. Another possible reason is that they are just sanding a large fuel spillage from some numpty that forgot to replace his filler cap when he last filled up. Hope this helps explain the reasons why they could be doing this.[]
