quickest thing i could afford.........in a nutshell back in 2000 when i got mine, Escort Cossies where too expensive (and still are) but is every boys dream! one day my Cossie will come. But i've loved the 8 years i've had mine, and the people you meet along the was are great! Been to many great things with mine over the years, and modded it somewhat as well. A 16 year old scooby with more dents and scratches than a dented and scratched thing and worth about 2 blackjacks and a shoelace is still more fun than a fun thing on a fun day!

Just wondering why people pick there cars. Was it the colour, the spec, experance of having one before, something they could tune, moving on/up the car ladder etc etc?????

And only found out about Blueboy Bob this week........ It's come as a big shock. What a nice guy he was. Use to go to a lot of the CADS meeting when i 1st got my scooby. He sorted out some great trips out. Have to dig out some pics from the old days.......... Was going to try and get to the CADS meet today (my old banger is still going strong, just more dents than a dented thing!) but i'm living most of the time in Tamworth with my fieonce and 8 month old baby, and only found out on friday from stevie scooby, also don't get up there much these days. Will have to try and get back into the subaru thing!!!!! Julian

the V5 comes in the post, what the customer gets is the green 'new keepers' part. The dearler sends the V5 off to the DVLA.

Yep, i have how got a N/A EJ20 with blown headgasket an a '95 turbo EJ20.... So hopefully with a little luck and a few pennys i should have a 2.5 turbo soon, well when i find some space to take them apart! Now the question is do i do a 2.5, or a 2.33 (or another variation) The is rumor of 2.7(?) but not sure how to do that!!!!!!!!!!!!

where abouts are you based????? I would strongly recomend genuine subaru pannels!!!! (for once) I got a 'pattern' wing and the fit is poo...... The rest of the stuff can be found on fleabay!!!!!!!!!!!! when i nudged mine, i need a wing, bonnet, bumper, headlight, bottom crossmember, slam pannel, headlight pannel and a piece cutting out of the front of a old shell,some of this i found on ebay.....
