Would love this to become my full time "GIG", but we will just need to wait and see what the response is Now that the site is up and running, I can get Phill to sort me out with an advertising spot. Dont like taking the privilages of the SIDC without paying for it. This forum is very good and i want to stay in it Regarding the legacy, I can get quite a few parts for that beast. I will give you more info when I get sorted out. I still have a shed load of stuff too do on the new site, and it just chews up the time. Got a mail from Gerry at Dastek today. He has asked me to clear up the matter on the forum as he isn't an SIDC member. It is as follows, and I think it explains the situation very well. << It was just to say that we still do Scoobies with the Unichip, but we want to test them on the dyno before we book a date for the Unichip, as we see so many cars that are modified but without thought to things like fuel delivery, or injector sizes, or we are seeing lots of older higher mileage (tired) cars that are booked in tying the dyno up for 1/2 a day, only to have them arrive & find out there are many fundamental faults i.e. ECU light on, MAF sensor faults, misfires etc. Also we have a new Unichip coming out around spring to summer which will do direct injector override, full variable cam timing, traction control, 3D gear dependant closed loop boost map, alter closed loop lambda operation, MAF sensor removal map + much much more, hence we have decided with all heavily modified vehicles to await the new Unichip. >> << Hope that clears matters up. >> << cheers >> << Gerry >>

Headlamps wont have affected it ,Andy. I would say that it could just be the fuse, dont know why though. Its getting the same feed that the defis are and i presume thay are still ok?? So its not the main feed thats down. I should have lengthened the wire going to the fuse holder at the time, but never thought. only thing I did notice ws that Dave had it taped up with insulating tape, it might have poped apart and its not getting a contact. Its easy to remove the stereo facia. Just follow the steps I said. Open the cup holder and card holder, gently pull the surround at the top, then grip (gently) the surround bellow the stereo and it comes away. Fuse is located to the left of the gap, just behind the lighter socket Hope you manage

Nah....bolt will be ok. Wouldn't bother with it. If it was that bad, the factory sensor would have picked up on it anyway.

Suppose so, when you work it out its only around the 22 psi mark. Still a heft figure though. Need to crank mine up another .1 or .2 and see what happens

Need some advice regarding my fridge freezer. Its stopped working and has buggered all the food. Seemd a bit strange, so I went to work on it!!! Its only getting 68volts going into the Motor/commpressor. I suspect its a dodgy temp sensor which is giving the low voltage. Anyone got any more ideas or do YOU fix theses? or who is good for spares?? Its a Seimens, if that helps Cheers Jamie
