  1. They are 18s, with 215/35/18 tyres. 2 tyres are 1 month old and are Kumho full run, the other 2 are not much good (1 is not legal) and are Ventus.

The wheels are quite badly scuffed (not by me though) but were £1000 new apparently, so worth a refurb.

Here are a couple of pics.

  2. Cheers everyone for your comments, looks like thumbs up win.

Which is good as I spent 2 hours yeterday T-cutting and polishing them.

Sorry Scoots, when I first looked at Deans wheels I did like the gold but after putting these on I love em. So for now they are staying.

    Cheers though.

Thanks again Hol, as I dont have broadband yet I cant be arsed to get the pics the right size, especially when there good people like you to do it for me

  3. Right I've just put new wheels on my car and after realising my rear bearing isnt shot (just yet) I have to get the geometry set up a bit lively before I scuff away these tyres too.

So where do you guys suggest for quality and price?

  4. If you are not fussed about main dealer stamps?

I am trying to get Kent scoobies a deal through the suzuki dealership in Tunbridge Wells.

Im sure at the moment it will be main dealer parts and £45 an hour but not confirmed yet, let me know what you guys think and I will see what I can do.

  5. Hi Guys,

Hope all is well, final installment of the stolen car saga.

As Pele said Guy has been arrested, im awaiting a court date to go watch him go down.

He has admitted to the 3 the police know about and Southern Ireland are after him too.

Got paid out (eventually) by the insurance but lost my no claims.

So now, as Im looking to buy a house im driving a 1992 Mitsubishi Colt GLXi (£530)

It certainly aint no Type R....... face-icon-small-sad.gifface-icon-small-sad.gifface-icon-small-sad.gif

Unfortunately I think it will be a good few years before im back in a quick motor.face-icon-small-sad.gif

  6. Not too sure on insurance, should be ok as they say i am covered but have to speak to a private eye and it depends on his report, but should be ok.

This is also on scoobynet, I feel that the more people that know, the less chance that it will happen to someone else.

I would love to bump into the guy in a dark alley somewhereface-icon-small-mad.gif

  7. Well where do I start, you all know I have been trying to get rid of my car for a while, but never thought it would end like this.

Was in Auto Trader and on here, got contacted by a guy in Ireland and to cut a long story short arranged to meet up for him to see the car.

Met at Gatwick Airport on Thursday 26/05/05 about 7pm

Did all the normal things, he looked round the car, asked all the right questions and took it for a spin.

Then handed me an Allied Irish bankers draft for £9500.

He drives off, I drive off, everyone is happy.

Till I go to pay it in the next day and its a forgery.

Apparently he has already done it once before in Feb this year at Bristol on another High performance prestige car.

So at the minute No car, No money and a really horrible sicky feeling.

Please be careful when selling as this guy is good, really good.

Car is probably in Ireland now being rung.face-icon-small-sad.gifface-icon-small-disgusted.gifface-icon-small-mad.gif
