  1. I'm in the market for an exhaust @ present and wondered if anyone else has one of these systems ?

Boyakasha has one and it sounds immense.......

Doubt I'll go over 350 bhp for the foreseable future so going for 3" with my 16G turbo makes little sense for now ( i.e smallish turbo and fat pipes = potential waste of time)

I'm also going back to OE headers primarily for the rumble but also for the quick spool up.

    Choices at present are :-

Full TSL system with Thundercat + Group N box

TSL Pulse Extraction system ( costly but I plan to keep The Patriot for a while )

    Full Ninja system

    Full H&S System

Still torn over full decat. Sports Cats seem to make way more sense but obviously cost £200 more than full decat downpipe

I have a C&C custom snakehead system at present and whilst it flows nicely, I cannot interchange a OE catted downpipe due to some odd choices of length during their fabrication

    Any thoughts welcome ?

p.s not really been on here recently due to being on a multitude of international stags & weddings. Talk about modding fund killers !

p.p.s new baby arrives in 9 weeks time - yikes !

  2. I was not there today but my old boy was on track with his Caterham and got a bit of a fright when a DEER ran onto the track and ran around in circles in a panic in front of him ! He was able to stop safely and luckily had no-one behind him ! Never seen that before !

  3. I got one of these

    http://www.boardmanbikes.com/mtbfs/fs_comp.html

    It's great - they made a boo boo with my order as I went for one @ £999 - as I had a £1000 voucher I ended up with a bike @ £799 + £300 worth of accesories

    Good review here :-

I goosed the rear shock but Halfords uprated it the same day I dropped it off.

The Halfords BikeHut staff were great too

The Boardmans FS get's rave reviews in magazines too

If I were you get the cheaper bike and go nuts with bike carriers and accesories !

Some pics of my steed in here :- http://calum-shand.fotopic.net/c1686066.html

    Cheers

p.s Halfords can order you in any bike you like via 4 main suppliers down south. When I compared the specs versus Specialized bikes I went for the Boardman

  4. I got pissed off pulling out the baby seat and folding down the back seats of my Audi

Last week I purchased Thule Aero Bars & the 591 Proride carrier

VERY very sturdy and soooooo easy to put the bike on ( by yourself too)

    Hope that helps ?

  5. EXTREMELY IMPRESSIVE !!!

I hope your are gonna ditch the Toyo T1-R's as they are gonna have to be stickier to cope with the tooooooooooooooorque that this mutha is gonna be outputting. Time for some R888 rubber or something like that

You are truely radio rental oriental mon amigo !

The pax vultures will be queuing at the gate for a ride in the Bamboo Infinity !

  6. My wife is a teacher in Kincorth so that's where my ( vague) schooling info comes from....

I myself went to a decent secondary but saw it go rapidly down hill when they opened up the catchment area. I draw parallels with that when I forecast my own son going to secondary ( ages away !). Half the time it depends on the kids and the associated parents not the school or parents IHMO.

I make no other judgements about Kincorth and know many, many fine folk from there . Seem to recall some bloke called Simmie being a Weapons Expert particularly in the field of ballistic missiles too :D

Any decisions made yet Kaylz ?

  7. I have a good 11 years to worry about the secondary school issue but a good point !

I can cope with the odd but of haar when it takes me 3 mins to get to work

Not a chav in sight up my way and the new bus route is 75 metres from my house.

IMHO - a 4 bedroom house in Cove is still muchos cheapness

Portlethen sounds alright but the smell of the chicken factory down there is pretty rancid mosts days ( assuming you are close-by)

  8. Doesn't sound so purdy - even more reason for me to ditch my EL headers !

Great camera work though and slick marketing ( noted that St3ph3n was sucked in fan-boy stylee ! :) )

That boy can deffo drive though - he came pretty close at the harbour eh !?

  10. No its not. Pretty certain I was cheaper when I was living in Lossiemouth mate.

Someone suggested Rosemount, but to be honest, if your looking for somewhere to park your car, then don't bother, parking is a nightmare, and you have to pay through the nose for the privilege, whether you can get a space or not... its also a hotspot for car damage. also, the "privilige" of being able to park somewhere near your house is just about to go up, from £40 per car for 2 cars, to £80 for the first car, and £120 for the second car...

You know what I mean Chewbacca ! We're talking cities not tumbleweed towns

  11. For south of the city look no further than Cove

I am on my 3rd house in Cove now. I am 1.5 miles from my office and have everything I need within 2 miles :-

Halfords, B&Q, Asda, Sainbury's & Tesco's plus parks the beach and the town centre is only 4 miles away

Compared with elsewhere the house prices are pretty cheap

All depends on your budget. I am in the new houses at the back of Cove. Brand new primary school 300 metres from the house too

  12. I was checking out my pipework yesterday. Without getting underneath the car ( on a ramp ideally) I cannot really tell but it looks like it might be 3" from the bottom of the dp to the backbox. Weirdly it looks the diameter increases at the backbox

    Cheers for the info Johnny

Col - nice pics but I am mostly diggin' your daughters choice of slippers

  13. i HATE typing on normal mobile - the full qwerty keyboard on the iphone is excellent. Copy n' paste coming soon too

I debated buying an iphone for ages. When you get one you wonder why you waited so long.

It performs so well that I sold my Netbook that I bought a month before geting the phone. Why spend 5 mins booting up when you can surf n' check email on an iphone.

I use it everyday at work and find the battery life is fine. You get used to chargin' it every couple of days

  14. By doing a "Fai17" I meant that you apply the " don't fix it upgrade it" mentality and your chariot end up being off the road for lengthy periods . It then get's hard to be satisified with current power levels. You know what I mean - I could have said doing " a Higgy " and it would have painted the same picture.

Loving where your turbo is mounted Pete >> pretty trick as the yanks say
