i thought about that with my old angle exit jap style, it's close with my tsl one now but i couldn't seem to alter it much, coz the down pipe is one position, then centre ain't got much give in it, so i though that's where it landed it can stay!!.....gonna double check though to see how things are hotting up[]

i wouldn't worry about the noise, it only increases a little but the other benifits are well worth it[] and from what i can remember you can leave the centre on and pass the mot still, i'm sure i'll be corrected otherwise,
