  1. whilst i have been off i thought i would need to do something to keep my brain active, so i have brought, in basic kit form, a Radio controlled 2004 WRC Subaru impreza AWD from Tamiya. I have only bought the kit to build. Well after a few days of mini mechanics the car is now complete and ready to go to its new owner! (christmas present maybe?), The car has been built, tested but NOT used. It is powered by a 540 race motor. It also comes complete with 1x over night battery charger, 1x 1500 MAH racing battery, 1x stick controller - these extra items have also been tested but are new. grab yourself a bargin. please pm me or call me 07950 953 824. Dean (Larkins Automotive Services) or make a bid, this is now on ebay, Item number: 120502613424
  2. Hi guys, just a quick update on the leg, i've been to and from the hospital for more x-rays; there is still not much bone growth as yet, but i have been told to start putting a little weight on it when walking on crutches, this will hopefully speed the bone growth up. I also start my 1st physio session tommorow. whilst i have been off i thought i would need to do something to keep my brain active, so i have brought, in basic kit form, a Radio controlled 2004 WRC Subaru impreza AWD from Tamiya. 5. Hi, you need to check that the o2 sensor is sending its signal to the ecu, get the engine to normal op temp and at 2000 revs you may be able to use your lap top to see if the sensor is reading/changing from rich to lean simultaniously, if this is the case than the sensor is working, if it stays rich or lean then there could be a fault with the sensor, good luck. Dean
  6. Hi, bank 1 normaly is the o2 sensor pre cat, this is fitted in manifold just before the up pipe. please test the o2 sensor before carrying out replacement as the sensor is approx £300 from main dealer. there are other reasons why this is bringing up this fault code, has the vehicle still got all of its cats fitted? has the vehicle been re mapped? wrong grade of fuel used? hope this helps. Dean.
  7. I would either fit a second hand engine, or break it. you willl fetch more money in parts than a complete car. but only you can decide!

Whilst laying on the floor in the dark at the v festvial in total agony with a broken leg, my wife ran for help and some low life scumbag stole my phone, cash, Dig camera and, most importantly, my Beer tokens from my jeans pockets after i thought help had already arrived!!! what a nice bloke i hope he gets a good price for selling all that he stole from me.

I have broken my tib and fib in my left leg, i have had an op to bolt my broken bones back together, i have 4 fixator pins petruding from my leg which are holding thing together, after 6 weeks the pins will be removed and a plaster cast will be fitted for another 6 weeks. fingers crossed i will be back to work after the cast has been removed. So please bear with me and i will do my very best to get back on my feet again and get back to making subaru's go faster and also stop quicker!! Thank you all again. Deano.
