I put a AP Racing on my STi 6 speed but was not looking to run 400 brake, no problems and is still good after a year's fitting.

Saw a black new (07) Impreza coming towards me last weekend with chrome mesh grills in Alloa, are RB320 being distributed now. Just wondering, not seen it again either.

My wife was coming back from Euro Central with my youngest son from Mechanics course. Seems she was doing her usual chatting and noticed a blue S80 unmarked and turns to son and says, "oh, look a car like mine" as she sped past in my Scoob. Needless to say the conceiled blue flashers go on and she gets pulled by lone policeman in unmarked car. He gets out, makes for the passenger side window my wife opens for him to lean in and says, "you know what speed you were doing their madam as you passed me" "No Officer" she replies, sheepishly and slight quiver in voice "It was well past 70 and I would not bet on it being far off a 100" "Oh am so sorry Officer I must have not noticed the speed, I usually drive my S80 Diesel, which isnt as fast as my husbands" "Well Madam, please take more care, you could have faced an automatic ban at the speed you were driving, let this be a warning to you" "Oh thank you Officer, I wont, I will take care to notice my speedometer in future" He leaves window and is heard muttering, "Women, drivers" and "Suburu" and "wots next"

Like it all one colour, and black is the bollocks though am biased. But ditch the wee grill vent at the front of bonnet and a would hope all doors, bonnet, boot lid worked. The wheels dont need to be greater than 18's, but all down to ones own individual taste. That camber reminds me of when we prepped mini for the stockies. How much weight does it save?

Having worked more years than I like to count now with the pro car thieves in prison, this aint there style, seems more neddish way to steal. Having been told by some there methods a dont see why they would need to threaten or attack anyone they like to be secretive about it and hone there skills to be fast, in and away, the only plus point is the new key fobs being linked in with the electronics so saving them a bit of time. But the pro's would not have issues with any of the gadgetry even your nice tracker only adds some seconds, how many places can you think of hiding a tracker in your car. So it looks like I will be having a new breed of jacker for company in the near future. On another note, if you do attack an intruder you must only use at a means of defense or attempt to get away on your part, anything else would be seen as excess of force and may see you in the court charged with assualt or worse. Its a funny old world and even funnier rights for criminals. They can even get monies for not getting drug care in prison. The law can be a total ass, I wonder which part of prison made them start taking the drugs while in the community. The prison service is accountable to maintain there habit (methadone) while they stay there, Barlinnie for example in second highest issuer of this drug in Europe, only the whole of Sweden is greater. See there is a reason why Abba/Volvo/Saab was inflicted on us. We cant have these poor souls (prisoners) going cold turkey heavens above, they may stop taking drugs, no we maintain it and in Englands case pay them for not maintaining it while being detained at Her Majesty pleasure. A nice wee earner paid for by the tax payer. What next people awaiting deportation getting legal aid, sorry we already do that. Still blame Flower Power Children who now fill the roles in our society for all these daft laws and rights we see now infiltrating our society. There still tripping and we are part of there dilusional state. Wheres that acid tab!!!!

Advice from those with suspension/chassis mods
alistair_learmonth replied to Nelsdir's topic in Scottish Scoobies
Fitted 22mm front and back ARB, the ALK and drop links to rear, already had prodrive springs. The front drop links were still good to go, maybe will get sockets out and change that sometime in near future. I would suggest reading Whitleine web pages for what they think on there bits and pieces. I got them done at last Geometry check at Progrip with existing Prodrive settings, these on there own make a difference and can quote from my experience of it. Bought all Whiteline parts via discount at Demon Tweeks all delivered within two days. As for ride its a lot flatter going in and out of corners, I have still my old Toyos on all four 18" wheels and would expect even better grip from my Goodyear Eagles. As I done the lot in one go so to speak a could not say what mod was best, as a package it certainly stopped understeer and improved handling qualities. Though cheapest mod was the Prodrive geometry £50ish. -

I think you have missed the point. It seems like all manufacturers they need a seller. So its going into a new era against hot hatches. Maybe the era for rally car look alikes is gone. The Evo 10 aint a rally car its a road car by all accounts. Its all down to money recouped against investment. I take it Suburu a change in client base is called for. It must be quick though, being lighter, etc, etc plus still retaining its four wheel drive. Who knows the next car passing your Evo is a Suburu Hot Hatch. -
Cheers jc a kinda hijacked this thread, bk to topic

Right heres my sad tail. I had problems with my thoat closing so blockin my air ways when a slept. I woke say 300 or 400 times a night but as I stopped breathing my brain woke me up and let breath but as quick as it did this a was a sleep again. Result was lack of energy, bad temper and no drive. I had no issues with driving at all and neva fell asleep like some folks a met at hospital driving taxis and heavy goods, they admitted they fell asleep. The point was I was on a waiting list for 2 years and just before a got my CPAP the doctors told me to tell DVLA and a would retain my licence, bullshit. It turned into a nightmare and 5 months later a get it back. CPAP was very effective, am back to normal and can have 5/7 hours sleep and feel great all day, perfect. See the same names cropping up on posts. Same questions anall. Somethings neva change lol
