I've got a K&N induction on MY93 WRX and the normal re-circ d/v. Somehow I get the chirp noise as the air goes back through the induction! Nice! The only draw back is you don't get the noise unless it's at full boost when you change up, if it's not then you get a very 'nasal' whooosh? cheers Geraint

Same on mine.....O/S header sheild was rattling - subaru took it off and said no problems leaving it off. Then the sheild that sits on top of the downpipe (after the cat) was rattling - as above and Subaru said the same. Definately seems to be common on these cars and always rattle at around 2500 rpm? Geraint

I just wrapped some electrical tape round mine a few times then pushed the rubber gaitor up over the top so it rest on lip left by the tape. Simple and it works! Mine a MY 93 WRX.....The gaitor is a horrible one isn't it! cheers Geraint

Not a bad price that to be honest. Bell don't do the Type R/RA, not on their system. You might find some chaeper but not by much, check the accidental damage excess just in case as well, if it's around the £350 - £400 mark stick with it...any higher keep looking. I'm with L & V and paying £590+/- on a MY93 JDM WRX (I'm 31) the same car with Admiral was £850 Good luck Geraint

PMSL and I know I shouldn't!!! My son just thought I'd got really upset at something and was concerned (gave me a hug and all) as I was doubled up at the computer with tears streamin' down my face!!! Wouldn't want to go through it myself...but this is one of the funniest things I've read in ages!

I've got an induction kit on mine and now the re-circ DV sounds like an atmos one!!!! I love it....but it does sound a bit like Darth Vader breathing if it's under 3k rpm!! cheers Geraint

As has been said L & V mate, your the same age as me (but I run an older model WRX to you), NCB etc and L & V beet Elephant, Admiral etc by £300!! Give them a go. cheers Geraint

Your lambda could be picking up an irregular mixture setting on the over run hence the CEL. My car has done it once, took it to main dealer and they said it's quite common for the lambda to do this and send false readings. Hasn't done it since. Hope this helps cheers Geraint

cheers guy's. The car was parked in the sun today and I think the heat as managed to pull the dent back out a little!!! Cost of damage around £100. Didn't really want any filler on the car but it's that or £250 for a new door skin, £100 for re-spray (entire side) and god knows for labour. I was gutted when I got home and saw the dent!!! I am seriously p1ssed off.

Now I work right smack bang in the middle of Cardiff City and as you may know Wales were playing tonight and I finished work as the crowds were going back to their cars/ buses etc. It's always tremendously busy so I always take extra care when driving from the building, well tonight some delightfull Welsh football fan decided to put a knee into the rear passanger door of the scoob!!! I AM BOUNCING, at first I thought he'd hit the boot with his hand as I was blocking his path (traffic jam), so give him the full verbal treatment and to go home and play with his pram in not so many words. I couldn't do anything like knock him out as he had his two young children with him, I mean what an example to set!!! Anyway when I've come home and had a look I wished I had knocked him out and shown his kids how much of a big man their father was. What a w4nker! Got to go and see if it can be popped back out again tomorrow. Waste some more of my time..
