  3. Told the insurance the mods were about 20 BHP (it was only for a quote, renewal time is almost upon us again ) Got the quote back tonight when I checked the e-mails, £599. Haven't received my renewal price from LV yet (got it about 2 days before it was due last year ), but as I paid £730 last time, I'm a happy lad this evening (well as happy as you can get knowing I'll be forking out £600 in the next 3 weeks ) Cheers, Andy.
  4. << Hi Walwal I run a MY95 that was 260BHP as standard worth checking your vin plate just to check your starting point GC8B**** is 240ps and GC8C**** is 260ps I never ran mine on a RR until i'd fitted the decat downpipe I ran 290BHP and 270 lbft of torque with a full decat system and slightly more boost I then replaced the air box and second resonator with a induction kit and replaced tje somewhat restrictive boost hoses for samcos and the results were tremendous. The hoses and induction kit allow the car to breath easier and the make the car far more responsive . My car then ran 327 BHP and 301 lbft torque on the same rollers with the same boost. I would agree with everyone else and surgest you'd be lloking at around a 20BHP increase Rolling road again in march with more to come this time >> Thanks Dan.   7. I have a K&N Filter, decat centre section and H&S Jap Syle backbox. Are there any BHP gains from these?? Never been on a RR so I've got no idea. Insurance need to know, but I'd also like to know myself Thanks, Andy.
  8. << I just wrapped some electrical tape round mine a few times then pushed the rubber gaitor up over the top so it rest on lip left by the tape. Simple and it works! Mine a MY 93 WRX.....The gaitor is a horrible one isn't it! cheers Geraint >> It seems like they salvaged the WRX gaiters out of old Mark 4 Cortina's. They are exactly the same. Andy.
  9. I'll try some of those methods, cheers guys. Only slight problem (maybe) is that mine is the crappy rubber gaiter in the 94 WRX, not some of the nicer leather one in the pics that have been posted. I should stop being a cheapskate and buy a decent gaiter shouldn't I??? Andy.
