I think Scoobysailor is running a TD05 16g with pink injectors, decat turbo back system and STi TMIC?
Going by his signature his figures after Andy F remapped it are:
"MICA RED 01 BUGEYE WRX - 333BHP/324lbft - assembled by SW Motorsport, mapped by Andy Forrest and driven like an old lady by ME!"
Sorry Lewis, I just spotted this thread. I have the mods mentioned above and it drives really well, not massive power compared to some cars on here but really good for road driving, spools up quickly and just keeps pulling. I am so happy with the set up I am not planning on any more mods (not performance ones anyway ).

I have a fully de catted turbo back Hayward and Scott (3") and de catted STi upipe ( for track use only obviously) and it's a nice sound. I'll take a wee vid clip for you and send you it if you want to hear how it sounds mate.

Hello and welcome mate - lovely looking car, looking forward to seeing it at the Glasgow runs.
-
jesus not this question again lol i am getting one because i am a big wain & love the noise, if you change oil regular then it wont be a big problem so i am lead to believe
PSSSSHHHHT all the way for me, I have one fitted and love the noise! I don't think there is any noticable difference in performance though.

Some familiar roads for some of us.........

How is that a 52 plate? Thought the last of the classics came out on an X reg?
I was thinking the same thing, mine is a 51 plate and a newage.

Happy birthday big fella......37 - are you sure

I got the same jacket from T K Max for around the same price when Subaru pulled out of the WRC. Well worth the money!
-
Excellent write up and results........I just wouldn't want to drive it home and get it all dirty again
-
Looking good Del, the spots make a MASSIVE difference to the front end.......where did you get the tints done?
-
I've used both green and K&N with no issues (although some people say the oil from them sometimes eats the Maf sensor).

I hope you know where his place is, as he doesn't exactly advertise his garage.......I had to ask a couple of wee boy racers

Dave i am up for that.
The stuff that Imy posted sounds a bit too much bother.
I was just after a trip down and a few beers and a wander round the show.
I agree Paul - a few beers and a wee wander round sounds good
-
Me and Lisa would be up for a trip down to this. I was going to go last year but had to cancel due to work.

Will we need to bend over our bonnets, stick our a***s in the air and have our chests hanging out?
Count me in! I might even come dressed as a sailor

Good topic this......I too am on the verge of getting my wheels powder coated @ Cameleon. I want to go darker as they are such a pain in the a$$ to keep spotless.
Has anyone had problems with them cracking / breaking with just "normal" road use after they've been powder coated?

Hello and welcome mate........luckily you got the fastest colour!
-
The Scuderia does sound nice at full chat but surprising how he did not pull away as i thought it would.
Except on the straight about 3 mins in.....

Would need to be my kids, the little bundle of joys just keep giving
You must have got good ones Derek - mine just keeps on taking!! He costs me more than the scooby.........

I've got Tarox Sport Japan grooved and drilled discs with mintex extreme pads on the front and standard set up on the back, refurbished calipers all round. I think they are a MASSIVE improvement on the standard ones but I agree with what has been said above - If you've got the cash go for a big brake kit like the K sports.
-
Christ Jon, you're the only person I know who is unluckier than me!!
Hope you get your car sorted mate. I was about to PM you to see how you were both getting on.
