  1. Guys, just wandered how easily removed these are as i may not have my car long after the event, have they been designed to be peelable?

    Cheers

I had to get one from Cathy (midnight 21) that was on her car and it peeled off quite easily - it was on glass though. Didn't leave any marks that a polish wouldn't remove.

  2. & decide what mods are next, just don't tell the wife :)

You better tell Alex not to phone the house phone again, after the last time :D

I'm just waiting for a quote from Duncan for my next round of mods - now that Lisa is working again :icon_pray:

  3. had a moment of panic when I realised the McRae Gathering is next Saturday........

    OMG

what if no one turns up after we've spent soo much time and effort organising this :P

    man that will suck

[daft I know but its one of the neurotic things I think about]

I wouldn't worry too much Imy, I've had people (non Subaru drivers) asking me in the street in Lanark if I'm going to the "Colin McRae thing" when they've seen me getting out of the car.......my mum even wants to go and see the turn out!!

  4. had to drive from Edinburgh to a place called wanlockhead this morning for a meeting and discovered my new favourite road! in between abington and wanlockhead its only a stretch of about 4 miles, but you can see clearly around every twist for oncoming traffic so you can just keep it in 4th and go- had an blast! I bet collectively we know loads of these types of roads, so any of your favourites spring to mind?

I know the road well - it is a magic wee stretch of road, I discovered it when I was out and about over the Summer (just after I got my whiteline goodies fitted :P )

  5. Cheers guys.

I do fancy the McRae gathering having been into rallying for years and having met the man himself on a couple of occasions. Just need to make sure I'm not going to be working that weekend. Can't do the full run to Banbury but could go part of the way.

I'm doing the same mate, I will probaby go down to around Carlisle / Killington lake services before coming back up- I know there are a couple of others doing the same.

  6. Nice looking car mate and welcome, it would be good to see you at the McRae gathering if you can make it, there is a convoy heading through from Edinburgh if you fancy it. Check the events section for meeting times and route.

  7. Thanks for taking time to reply.I'm going to start looking for one i think. Cheers

Take a look in the "Items For Sale" section mate, there are some nice ones in there at the moment around the price you are looking at. I would rather get mine off someone on here - at least you will know it's history and that it has been looked after.

I get around 300 miles from a tank and mine has a few mods and a remap..... ;)

  8. Wheels looking good  but you know what i also noticed too??? Plenty room for a bbq :D

Ha ha, the pictures were taken at my parents house but we could always try and squeeze everyone in my back garden..... :)
