In the general forum is the poll for S.I.D.C Member of the Year and as you can see i have been nominated. I feel extremely honoured to have been nominated and thank those who have already voted for me BUT i would like to request that i no other members vote for me. Please do not take this as ungratefulness but I personally did not become an S.I.D.C Regional Organiser to gain individual awards, I did it because i enjoy organising events and i wanted to give something back to the club who gave me and Ed so much, including a social life, many wonderful friends, and massive support through Ed's illness. Thanks guys and gals, Over on the Isle of wight and the weather is great but as we left after work i didnt get the post so i hope to return to find cards etc waiting for me! Had some great gifts for the garden and ed is paying for my hair to be done at scooby ball fo me.

Iain and Jenny, I have to say a massive THANK YOU for everything that you have both done over this last week. Jenny the fact that you had water to hand last sunday which was able to get us most of the way home and you allowed us to kidnap Iain for over 6 hours today has just been amazing and i really do thank you. Iain, Here we go again, How many times now have you been able to help us, too many to count on our hands now! Your are a star! The fact the you had a complete novice watching you at every step and you had to explain everything in plain english and not mechanic talk and still you kept your patience and kept with the problem! We owe you big time - as i said earlier, talk to Jenny and work out a time because we are going to take you out for a meal at cosmos on us as a thank you. You have helped us out sooooooooo much and it is really appreciated not just from me and ed but also all his work collegues as he was THE WORST BOSS GOING last week and all because his car was poorly!
