    Who was it in the Black Bug-eye today coming over the erskine bridge and getting off m8 at breahead exit, I was in the 06 Fiesta that pulled over just after the bridge to let you past and was behind you all the way to breahead (you must have thought you had a private stalker). pity about the VW blocking all the way down to the road works what a twit (the VW driver) stay in the outside lane until the cones started.     Mines are the same, back edge of the spokes all have bubbled and the paint starts to flake off. On one of the wheels the paint started flaking out from the bolt holes too that wheel has been touched up a few times now and it just looks a mess, but it looks okay from a distance (it's because I know it's there).     if every one emails it would show shell were getting pi$$ed off. this is the guy I'm in contact with. Richard.Priestley@shell.com now if he was to get a few emails I'm sure he would complain to his bosses etc.

    My import says inside the fuel flap "use unleaded fuel min 98 Ron" but in the handbook says you can use 95 in an emergency. So any one with an import should check there handbook. Chris how much was the goatsmilk.

    Looking to get all my alloys redone as I have heard nothing for Subaru UK about getting then done/replaced under warranty. That was almost 3 months since I report it to Iain Grieve in Camelon, Falkirk. I even took photos and emailed to charlie there, Still nothing so I am going to get them done and pay for it, then send the invoice to Warranty dept. As most of you already know some of the Blob eye have problems with the gold paint, bubbling and then flaking off, and it's getting right on my lady boobs. As it's effecting all 4 of my alloys 2 of them are really bad. Any recommended place must be good enough for you to trust. Ed

    I had to used BP the other day ( the one just at Muirhead on the A80) they where charging 103.9 for 97Ron. Today as Cumbernauld Shell is still out of Optimax I used the Esso at Cumbernault town center their super unleaded 97Ron was 94.9, I also had a little chat to the manageress about what was going on with the fuel, ESSO and Shell both get their fuel direct from grangemouth. She was telling me that since Shell ran out they have almost doubled there sales of the super unleaded and ranout after a few days, but got another tanker with 48hr, So Shell are just spinning stories, My car is happy to run on 97ron fuel so I think Shell are going to loose out in the long run here. Also got another email from Shell, more fairy stories I think. Here is that email. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dear Mr. Reid, I am sorry if you found my response unsatisfactory. I can assure you, it was not my intention to fob you off. I have consulted again with our distribution department, and they have re-iterated that there were distribution issues at the root of the problems with Optimax supply, and that they fully expect most affected sites to be restocked with Optimax by the end of the weekend.     Even if it sounds daft, you can get automatic wrx's and they go just as good as the standard cars, classics will all be JDM imports, but from bugeye you can get them euro import with autobox. if you really don't want to change the car, you could as said above air filter exhaust ect. Good luck in your search.. Ed. PS.. I have autobox and driveshaft, rear diff ect to get rid off. JDM is Japan Domestic Market. Don't use that thing on ebay, it's basically a resistor that makes the car think to much o2 is in the exhaust gases so the car adds extra fuel making it run very rich. Your much better getting the car remapped. Do a seach on this site for remap

I was very sorry to hear that there was no Optimax available at the time of your visits. I fully appreciate that this situation is unacceptable and I would like to offer my apologies on behalf of Shell UK for the unnecessary inconvenience that has been caused to you. Shell delivers fuel twenty fours hours a day, seven days a week throughout the UK and every effort is made to ensure that out of stock situations are kept to an absolute minimum. On this occasion the lack of Optimax in the region was die to unforeseen operational difficulties, which have now been resolved. Deliveries of Optimax should be back to normal very soon. I apologise for the dissatisfaction you have been caused and any inconvenience you have been subjected to. I do hope that this unfortunate incident will not deter you from visiting Shell branded service stations in the future.     I registered and paid ( as did a few other people ) with Billy at the RB Meal at Peters just waiting on the stickers now . I have already PM Billy and got a reply So as far as I know things are all systems go. Ed

    Got some new photos taken today. Needed new ones because of the harnesses and the rear spoiler. I think the pictures in the field are the best ones and yes the front mud flaps are touching the ground. Really handy for raking out moss.

    Cheers guys, it's bonded to the orginal pillars it's a 3 man job to fit it one each side plus one guy to fit the center stand off. The orginal 06 spoiler/vortex generator is hi gloss black with coloured end caps, I was going to try to match that or use carbon fiber film over the blade but it looked crap so I just went for the blue. Very funny he knows I don't have an awning it's a gazabo.

    Yep, it takes ages to download, but no wonder it almost 45Mb, I was told it's the full 5mins that will be put onto the DVD when it's released, So you famous Wullie and Clair or at least the car is. Mines was the first ICE install you see and then the car so happy about that. Anyone know who the red scooby belongs to in it. They used to do Scooby dayout videos complete with music, but that seems not be the case anymore
