  1. You could always wait till the WRC heads to Sligo and make it one fantastic trip.

Dates have still to be confirmed but it looks like it is heading to this lovely part of the country.

I competed in the sligo stages last year and it was fantastic, a copy of our own in car video really lets you see what the roads are like over there.

  2. Strange one i know but i have surplus to requirements in full working order an air and water tower combined unit. Its the modern one with the tyre pressure plus and minus sign.

This is a 2nd hand unit but as i say is in good condition and full working order.

All you need is a water supply and electrical supply for the compressor to operate the air supply.

Photos will be available early next week.

PS can deliver anywhere in the central belt/lothians/ayrshire etc.

So if you know of any private garages, tyre fitting companies or indeed a works factory unit then this is the thing for you.

  4. Cant you tow a scooby more than a few miles without having to flatbed it?

Is it the diffs or is it something to do with the engine.

Just 1 of those questions i dont know the answer to.

  5. << Graham, thanks for the well wishes, it is appreciated.

Corsa, the Police, Insurance and Rescue Services were all very understanding.

For your information, Myself and Chris have competed in both Navigational Road Rallies and National Karting events, so competing has been tried.

Chris was caught out on an Island that is notorious for it's nasty roads, (66 starters on the Saturday night compared to 160 on Friday night), and was pushing a lot less than if he had been out on an SIDC run, and am sure in a manner that you have gone harder in, on any of your own road cars.

We were going to come and find you to wish you well on the rally, to be honest, I for one am glad I didn't. At least everyone else has shown a little more compasion. If anyone has the right to bear resentment to Chris, it's me( and I don't), for placing me in a near death situation, but even I can understand that accidents happen.

WHAT THE **** IS THAT ALL ABOUT?

Craig I touch goats with my mobile number on it to discuss this further as i am not going to reply with my views publically.

  6. They were playing on the glen road just prior to the stage start and with the help of the doctor and rescue units on duty on that stage they were all ok but they did have a lot of explaining to do to the traffics that night.

And no doubt their insurance company.

Not the sort of thing that is wise when we are all trying to encourage closed road rallying.face-icon-small-mad.gif
