  1. Welcome to The Subaru International Drivers Club 👋

    Congratulations on your purchase!

iCP have the front bumper - https://www.importcarparts.co.uk/parts-info?id=14182&cat=96&sub=183&sec=349&var=85&dc=0&gen=&searchKey=&searchPart=

The Bugeye STI bonnet scoop is also the same scoop that is used on the 2004-2007 SG9 Forester STI Revisions C to F, widening your chances of finding one. They usually crop up on ebay every so often but there is also the more expensive route of purchasing one from Japanparts if you prefer new and unused -  https://www.japanparts.com/parts/detail/?id=3377

Regarding the fog lights, as far as I know the Bugeye type RA spec C 16" and 17" did not come from the factory with fog lights as an option but if your interested in fitting them, Japanparts lists them as available in either:

    Clear - https://www.japanparts.com/parts/detail/?id=3418

    or

    Multi Coat - https://www.japanparts.com/parts/detail/?id=3417

Another option would be to fit some driving lights in place of the fog lights, such as Prodrive (Very rare and expensive) or after market ones.

The original factory spec will either be the:

type RA spec C 16" alloys

    or the:

type RA spec C 17" gold BBS alloys with brembo brakes

  7. Welcome to SIDC Ace, it's great to have you onboard :)

I've seen your Forester STI a couple of times before, when we met up at the 2019 Prodrive Meet and IOW Scoobfest 2019. It's a lovely example 👌

  8. So if I understand this correctly, the official Subaru chassis lists only account for how the the vehicles rolled out of the factory in Japan and do not include the Prodrive Edition's specifications. As the Prodrive packages and parts were added afterwards upon arrival in the 'Destination Country' by Prodrive themselves, as far as I know.

Which would explain why the 5, 22G Bright Red 3, Blobeye STI's are listed in the same chassis list as the 23G Ice Blue Metallic, UK WR1's and the 23G Ice Blue Metallic, French WR1's are listed alongside LHD European Petter Solberg Editions?

In which case the 5 RHD Red Blobeye STI's might be Petter Solberg Editions for RHD markets in 'European and General'...

  9. That's good to know Don, because there is one chassis list on LegacyPic.uk that I am unsure about and I wonder if it's an error or if there is another explanation:

According to https://legacypic.uk/car/chassislist.php?id=1672 there are 5 Solid Bright Red (22G) UK WR1's?

I understood that all UK and French WR1's were only sold in 23G Ice Blue Metallic.

I've just found a chassis list for 'General and Europe (Left-Hand Drive) MY 2004 GDBDLEH Impreza WRX STi LIMITED EDITION' (https://legacypic.uk/car/chassislist.php?id=6774) that lists 495 chassis with 106 of those being 23G Ice Blue Metallic. I'm wondering if those 106 are the French WR1's and the other 356 (02C WRC Blue Mica) and 33 (22G Solid Bright Red) are European Petter Solberg Editions?

  10. Welcome back to SIDC!

I remember your Forester STi well, from the 2013 & 2019 Prodrive meets plus the 2015 Colin McRae Weekender. You really shifted it round the Evo Triangle! :driving:

It was lovely sitting in your R205 at RallyDay 2022, the pearlescent white really pops in the sunlight, very bright indeed! :hy:

Thread and photos can be found here:

According to https://legacypic.uk/car/chassislist.php?id=1266 Subaru only ended up producing 350 R205's as opposed to the claimed 400, https://www.sti.jp/en/completecar/heritage/cardetail/2010/r205/

Some interesting numbers on your Legacy here, https://legacypic.uk/car/chassislist.php?id=1011 - Super rare!

Hopefully see you again soon at some future events and meets. It would be great to get a look at your Legacy!

  11. Welcome back Scoobyslammed :)

That's a nice selection of cars you've had there B)

It's awesome that you were able to buy back your old Type R :D

Liking the living room shot. I've got a Bugeye STI bonnet and scoop right next to me as I type this

SIDC has lots of events lined up for next year and a Christmas dinner this November which I will be posting in the SIDC Members Shows and Meets section.

Fantastic that you bagged such a good example 👌

It does look awesome, I don't see many rally liveried Scoobs in the wild much these days... Yours would fit right in perfectly at Rallyday

I've heard very good stuff about TDR. They come very highly recommended from what I've read and heard

I look forward to seeing your Scooby at JDM Combe 😎

Are you going to any other shows and meets this year?

We've got club stands booked for Scoobyfest UK 2022 and IOW Scoobfest 2022 so far, plus Rally Day later in the year :D

  14. :hi: and welcome to The SIDC Phill 👋

Congratulations on your recent Bugeye WRX purchase 🏎️

A great first area to start upgrades would be the handling and braking. If it doesn't already have an uprated rear anti-roll bar, that would be a very worthwhile upgrade to do. Plus, a front under bonnet strut brace in the engine bay, looks the part too! Combined, these two upgrades will tighten the car up nicely without compromising on ride comfort and ground clearance.

     What colour's your Impreza? 🌈

Hi all.  I got my white 2014 WRX STi in June this year.  Thought I'd join the group to show ones project & get updates on when meets are happening as I don't use any kind of social media.

  16. Subaru never officially produced a Hawkeye Sports Wagon STI, so as you mentioned, it's indeed a JDM Hawkeye Sports Wagon WRX with STI badges and decals (Revision G, 5-Speed Manual - https://legacypic.uk/car/specs.php?)

The closest thing ever officially produced to a Hawkeye Sports Wagon STI in terms of both performance and cosmetics would be either a Prodrive GB270 Sports Wagon

    gb270z.jpg

    Revision B - https://legacypic.uk/car/specs.php?id=219

If I remember correctly, I saw that exact Hawkeye Sports Wagon WRX you posted in the link, for sale in 2020 on Quay Vehicle Solutions official website for around £8,995. I believe QVS originally imported it, a lot of their vehicles were originally registered on CF plates (Cardiff).

  17. As well as the exciting release of the Solterra later in 2022 (https://www.media.subaru-global.com/en/news/3169), Subaru & STI will now be debuting their "STI E-RA Concept" at the Tokyo Auto Salon 2022 from January Friday 14th to Sunday 16th.
