Brilliant, it's the SJ shape I like. are they all 2014 cars?

According to all the sources I can find online, the JDM SJG-02 tS is stated as having been released for sale in November 2014.

LegacyPic.UK lists 3 JDM SJG-02 Foresters built on 17th September 2014 with "Option Code 62C". I'm guessing that these are the Pre-production versions. 2 in White and 1 in Silver. They have "Trim Code 032". With all the ones after Pre-production having "Trim Code J30". These 3 have not yet been separated and listed as Pre-production on LegacyPic.UK, from the rest of the VIN's on the page. Including 1430 other SJ Foresters that can't possibly be tS as they are in colours that you can't get the tS in - https://legacypic.uk/car/chassislist.php?id=8322

Then after that the next JDM SJG-02 tS listed isn't until the 12th January 2015, in Blue.

With the final 3 listed as being on the 10th April 2015, 2 in White and 1 in Black.

Including what appears to be the Pre-production versions, there are a total of 302 JDM SJG-02 tS.

114 in 02C WR Blue Mica                                                                                              111 in K1X Crystal White Pearl                                                                                        53 in D4S Crystal Black Silica                                                                                        24 in G1U Ice Silver Metallic

    Japanese Goo-net Specifications: https://www.goo-net.com/catalog/SUBARU/FORESTER/10094337/

Another one has popped up for sale on Goo-net in the last few days: https://www.goo-net-exchange.com/usedcars/SUBARU/FORESTER/700031031830240119004/

Some videos of the Australian Spec. Bear in mind it's down on power (241ps) VS JDM Spec (280ps) and a whopping whole 1kg heavier  same torque though. Also has roof rails and no rear under spoiler.

  3. :hi: there & Welcome to the Club Sam 👋

Great to have your STI 330S onboard! @salsa-king has a Solid White one too! :D

We have quite a few Shows, Meets & Drives lined up for next year already! Dates pending confirmation at this point but they tend to fall onto or close to the previous years dates for Shows & Events. This can sometimes be useful when planning out your Events Diary in advance

List of Shows & Meets SIDC plans to attend in 2024 so far:

    • Japfest @ Silverstone - Usually on the fourth Sunday in April
    • Scoobyfest UK @ Thirsk in Yorkshire - The last 2 Years this has been held on the third Sunday in June
    • IOW Scoobfest @ Isle of Wight - Fri 5th, Sat 6th & Sun 7th of July 2024
    • JDM Combe @ Castle Combe - The last 2 Years this has been held on the second Saturday in July
    • RallyDay @ Castle Combe - Used to be in September which rounded out the Show season nicely but was in July last year & clashed with IOW Scoobfest. SIDC managed to do both but it was very tight!
    • Simply Japanese @ Beaulieu Motor Museum - Generally on the fourth or fifth Sunday of July at the end of the month
    • Annual SIDC Xmas Dinner for Full Members, their Family and Friends - November/December

List of planned Scenic Drives out for 2024 so far:

    • SIDC Spring Meet n' Drive - April
    • SIDC Summer Meet n' Drive - June
    • IOW Scoobfest Meet n 'Drive - July
    • SIDC Autumn Meet n' Drive - September or October TBC

Be sure to keep a look out in the "SIDC Shows and Meets" section of the Forum & the "Upcoming Events" on the right hand side of the Forums Index page, as dates get confirmed & Shows, Meets n' Drives begin to get posted up!

Looking forward to meeting you & your Scooby :)

  4. Thanks Stephen :)

Brilliant colour combination, both 1st & 2nd place on the podium! :st:

The Club aims to cover a variety of locations for all of our regional Members and we try our best to mix it up each year with both old & new interesting places ranging from the Isle of Wight, through to Wales, and all the way up to Scotland in the past.

As our Members are quite wide spread throughout we have a mix of different people and cars at each Show and Meet we attend. Our biggest Club Stand this year had 7 Scoobys together. In recent years we have had up to 15+ Scoobys on the Club Stand together.

  5. Welcome to the Subaru International Drivers Club Stephen 👋

Congratulations on your recent purchase :D

What colour have you gone for this time?

That's a great angle of the Hawkeye 📷

We have quite a few Events lined up for next year which will be posted up nearer the confirmed dates in the SIDC Shows and Meets section, https://sidc.co.uk/forums/forum/132-sidc-shows-and-meets/

The dates are generally quite similar each year for the Shows, which can give an idea of when they tend to be for the next year.

We have Meet n' Drive coming up,

and the SIDC Christmas Dinner, usually near the end of November, details yet TBC 🎄

Hope to see you and your Hawkeye at some future Shows and Meets!

  6. Spotted this ultra rare RHD Impreza WRX STI Limited while out and about and had a lovely chat with the owner

    IMG_20230815_163022.thumb.jpg.873ceb1b1742c0e6a8603d9d6710942e.jpg

1 of 10 built that have Applied Model Code GDFGKJH, Colour Code 45A Urban Grey Metallic and Option Code 64, in RHD.

According to LegacyPicUK, there were only 85 RHD Limited's produced in total for the UK & Irish Market and they came with full black leather seats, black Brembo brakes, no rear roof vane & a discreet rear 'lip spoiler'. As seen above this one has a few modifications that have altered the exterior look.

As I understand it, it's effectively the UK & Ireland's RHD equivalent of the JDM A-Line - https://legacypic.uk/car/specs.php?id=1761

  7. No worries :)

Sounds similar to a Pro-R 340R Pack as seen on the saloons.

I haven't seen a hatch with a 340R or similar performance package before, that's cool

Closest I've come across is the Prodrive 330S Hatch.

  8. Welcome to the SIDC Forums Leo 👋

Lower mileage on an original engine with FSH would be ideal.

When looking at a higher mileage Subaru with a refreshed engine it's good to know exactly who refreshed it, what parts they used or not & who mapped it, then do a bit of research about the engine builder, parts used & mapper to help you decide.

I can see why it's called the Rocket by the look of it 🚀

Good luck with your ongoing search for a Scooby Eddie 🤞

  10. @Pwbchris If your still interested in joining us on the SIDC Club stand at Japfest Silverstone 2023, there is now less than a week to go until the deadline for Club stand tickets, Monday 27th March:

  11. Welcome to The Subaru International Drivers Club 👋

    Congratulations on your purchase!

iCP have the front bumper - https://www.importcarparts.co.uk/parts-info?id=14182&cat=96&sub=183&sec=349&var=85&dc=0&gen=&searchKey=&searchPart=

The Bugeye STI bonnet scoop is also the same scoop that is used on the 2004-2007 SG9 Forester STI Revisions C to F, widening your chances of finding one. They usually crop up on ebay every so often but there is also the more expensive route of purchasing one from Japanparts if you prefer new and unused -  https://www.japanparts.com/parts/detail/?id=3377

Regarding the fog lights, as far as I know the Bugeye type RA spec C 16" and 17" did not come from the factory with fog lights as an option but if your interested in fitting them, Japanparts lists them as available in either:

    Clear - https://www.japanparts.com/parts/detail/?id=3418

    or

    Multi Coat - https://www.japanparts.com/parts/detail/?id=3417

Another option would be to fit some driving lights in place of the fog lights, such as Prodrive (Very rare and expensive) or after market ones.

The original factory spec will either be the:

type RA spec C 16" alloys

    or the:

type RA spec C 17" gold BBS alloys with brembo brakes
