  1. Sounding nice Cal, good sounding dump valve as well. [] Stephen.
  2. I'll keep an eye out for you. I know there's a blue 02 bugeye STi in the Broch running a Blitz Supersound & K&N induction kit. Stephen.
  3. Very nice mate. I quite like ones that look like that. I wonder why? Stephen.
  4. Hello Matty, What colour of STi have you got. I'll have to keep an eye out for you if I'm ever through to the Broch. Stephen.
  5. Yeah, sorry to have to say it but I heard a bad report today about some exhaust work they did on someones car too.
  6. I had a problem with my nuts once! Ooh er! Got new alloys put on by a local wheel dealer and couldn't get 1 nut off in particular since they were put on new. It had an allen key type head on it. Tried with spanner and scaffold bar on the end of it but couldn't budge it. All that was happening was the allen key head was splitting. I thought I'd really buggered it. Took it back to the garage who put them on and they shocked the nut by hitting it with a metal bar then the put the pneumatic air gun on it. It finally came off. Hope this helps, Stephen.
  7. Yeah I removed the front grill then the bolt holding on the white plastic lug also. Stephen.
  8. I was a bit feart as well and kept putting it off, but well chuffed now that it's done. Before After Better with someone giving you a hand, one to heat with hairdryer while the other splits the headlight. My fingers were in bits trying to do it myself. Give the sealant a good reheat before putting back together as I see one of my headlights fogs up when it's wet now. Stephen.
  9. Still haven't mastered these quote things yet. Marc, really love my Scooby. Just have a really annoying problem with my battery losing it's charge after a few days. It's going into T&C next week to get looked at. Still plan on getting a Blitz exhaust and Scott Lowe splitter next. Hoping to be off for this years Alford to hear some different exhausts. Cheers, Stephen.
  10. I've seen that Silver BMW in Peterhead as well Duncan. Wouldn't have guessed it to be the bobbies but it had stopped someone at the time. What exhaust have you got on now Duncan? Stephen.
  11. Saw a nice black blobeye STi going down Aberdeen bouley tonight reg KEV ****. Lovely sounding exhaust. Anyone know what it might be. Stephen.
  12. Yeah, thanks for that good advice too as I would probably have been going for a Bailey's VTA in the future once my warranty runs out. Are there any recommended VTA dump valves or is it as you say just as well staying with the original. I would only have been buying one for the noise. What about the likes of the Forge, Blitz Supersound and HKS SSQV. Are they worth the money or again are you just leaving yourself open to problems. Sorry, this has probably been explained a million times before. Stephen.
  13. Yip, very nice lookin car there. Stephen.
  14. Very nice, very similar to my own one. Stephen.
  15. Herbie, were you in Peterhead earlier tonight (Saturday). Sounding very good and VERY LOUD!! Stephen.
  16. Got my wifes Focus done at Scotglass a few years ago. They did an excellent job, first class. Stephen.
  17. Must be a speed camera detector driven by GPS as it's beeping before every fixed speed camera and I've heard snoopers etc only beep if the cameras are actually active. Strange how it's just started as long as someone doesn't start charging me for it. Stephen.
  18. Keep the winglets and a Scott Lowe splitter kept black for me. Stephen.
  19. Have owned my STi 8 for nearly a year now and a strange beeping noise for a few seconds has started inside the car yesterday? Had it on the way home again? Did a search on the internet and came across an option on RAC Trackstar that detects speed cameras. None of the Trackstar docs I have with the car indicate such an option being fitted so didn't think it was that but hey driving to work again this morning beeped again as approaching a speed camera. Tested this on the way home again at another 4 cameras and it beeped approaching each one but only it you were going the way that the camera would take you. Weird, never heard this noise in all the year that I've owned it. Any thoughts or similar experiences? Going to phone the test check phone number for Trackstar to see if they can locate my car as I've read a few horror stories of them not being able to find some Scoobies. Cheers, Stephen.
  20. Purely on looks I like the last one with the PFF-7's on. It also has an On Board Doctor? Could you not swap it for the On Board Nurse version, ding-dong!! Stephen.
  21. Must've being taking it canny as 250 miles is always what I get to a full tank. Stephen.
  22. It's always so cold in Peterheid that all cars are blue! Stephen.
  23. Yeah plenty of blues up here in the bloo toon. Stephen.
  24. Yip, started playing a game with the kids in the car, how many Scoobies can you spot? Spotted 14 just in the 30 odd miles between Peterhead & Aberdeen. Not much waves though (of the hand variety) Stephen.
  25. Same PFF-7's as the ones on the black STI in front of the NO PARKING gates. One of my favourite black Scoobies that one. Stephen.
