Sorry about asking another question on your topic but it's to do with the A'PEXi Power Intake Induction Kit. I got to try one out on my car and what a difference in induction noise and standard recirc dump valve noise, very nice. Just not sure on if this could harm my engine in any way without getting a remap etc. Don't want to pay out for a remap just for some noise as I'm not bothered about any power gains or losses. I see the A'PEXi is not a cold air intake system so could the hotter engine temp do any harm? Car is a STi 8 Type UK with PPP and Blitz Nur Spec S backbox, no other engine mods. Or what about keeping the standard air intake setup and just getting a VTA dump valve Forge, Blitz etc. Thanks for any advice, Stephen.

Ok here's mine. WRX STi UK Version 8 WR Blue (Very rare colour, LOL) Power: 300bhp Mods include: PPP, Prodrive PFF-7 Alloys, Detango'd Headlights, 20% Rear Window Tints, Blitz Nur Spec S Backbox, Scott Lowe STi Mudflaps. Stephen.

Detangoing your headlights is removing the orange plastic triangle from inside the headlight and replacing the original clear indicator bulb with a silver coloured bulb that looks silver but flashes orange. Originally mines looked like this. Stephen.

Helped my mate detango his headlights today. Bit tricky and fiddly but we got there. Looks a lot better. [] Just shows me how much I need a Scott Lowe splitter to finish off the front end. Just fitted Alpine headunit and Forester pocket to my 04 STi.The pocket is a lighter grey slightly than the dash trim. Just wondered if anyone knew of a paint code or colour match that would bring it closer to the original dash. Cheers, Stephen.

Definately Blitz Nur Spec. I've just changed my Prodrive for the Blitz and my STi burbles away now with just the backbox fitted it's not the Spec R system. Looks and sounds the doggies! [] Stephen.

Could've Dunc, but had read a good few posts about Fiskens and they're excellent service. I believe they would've been cheaper than T&C as well. OK you've to take the petrol costs into it as well but made a day of it down there with the family. As I say would highly recommend them. Stephen.
