Was thinking about going for a set of these so that my other wheels can go in to get
powdercoated as they are a bit of a mess.

I would be getting the gold section done in Hyper-Silver though to match the rest
of my car.
Opinions please.

Dave,i used to build conservatories for a few years....BELEIVE ME when i say "this glass
is a complete sham,do NOT buy".
Heard of loads of customer complaints about it as my mate still does this for
a living.
Hope this helps.

Don't mean to put a dampener on this thread but i have personally used Auto Image in Glasgow b4
to refurb a set of alloys on my old Honda VTi.
They lasted all of 3 months b4 a pink residue started to show through on all of the wheels.
Went back to see him(Ian)and first thing he says is"are you sure you got them done here"...Tosser.
He then tells me they are very busy at the moment and could i call him in 3 days to give him a chance
to speak to whoever it was they used to do the powdercoating, which i did.
Cue 3 weeks of chasing him over the phone and 2 visits to the shop to be told "he's out at the
moment".
Got made an offer on the car by someone who had other plans for it.....wheels,bodykit,engine and
other various mods so it didn't matter to him......car sold, new one purchased.
Vowed never to spend another penny in there though.....CRAP job,CRAP service.
Rant over

After all the sh*t everyone posted on this thread, not one person has suggested having a meet at a normal pub
instead of a "Brewers Droop" or another venue for that matter(except Oobster...sorry)
I personally can't stand these places and would really like to meet elsewhere....
If others feel the same then i would gladly look in to other locations and get back to people
on that.
As for standing up and introducing myself to everyone, wether i know them or not,it doesn't
bother me as anyone who's met me will tell you i am rather LOUD at times.
NEWBIES:-If no-one has seen your face b4,you can't expect everyone to just run over to you
and start conversing.....life doesn't work like that,so why should the meets.....(WE,all of us have been there
at one time).
I like my Glasgow meets when i can get to them, and i'll support them in any way i can(and meets in other areas when
i can get to them)
If you don't get your feelings across at meets....what chance is there of people taking seriously what you post
in a thread on here......so let's get a big turn out at the first Glasgow meet(Newbies/Regulars/Dinosaurs)and all
play our part.
Good Luck for 2006 Billyboy

It seems every meet i go to people are prattling on about doing something
different next year,so when Spooks came up with the idea of a Scooby Ball
i thought "great,a good social event to look forward to".....but,low and behold,
it's back to the same old sh*t....everyone says"oh aye, that'll be great"....but when it
comes to people getting behind him and making sure we get enough folks to
attend to make it a success......the support shown is abismal.
It's no wonder no one wants to organise anything other than runs in this
club....and that some RO'S feel they can't be arsed with it any longer.
Poor show people.

Is it possible to powdercoat gold wheels silver? Does it work? As I think I seen on another thread that it couldnt be done.
