Hi i'm shiona, havent posted much on the forum, normally find me lurking on the TRS site (Hi Cal, Grovit) I've a 98 Classic turbo that I bought when I split from my husband and handed back my Civic type R. I bought the scooby to have as much performance as the Civic. I've got to agree with Gumball that you cant beat the looks you get. Being female and blonde causes a stir quite often and kids just love the car, I'm the coolest mum at the school

Meadowbank area preferred so i can get it done while i'm working. >> Dont laugh but you could put it into Budget near there My (ex) father-in-law works here and he will give you a fair MOT, I still go there to get mine done. He does everything by the book, this means you wont get off with anything but then he wont tell you something is wrong when it aint. Can PM me for his name.

Leave it looking as it is as you say stops unwanted attention and also fools people as they think its standard Imy - my holidays this year are TRS tours also, cars, cars and more cars

I've had work done at Extreme, was really pleased with it. They serviced my car when I bought it, was more expensive than some but they done more than the other garages. They gave the car a good going over and checked it for me. Hi Gordy - Chris at Linton was recommended by Squirrel and I've also read a lot of good things about him on the forums, they're also much closer to me than Extreme On the subject of Extreme has anybody seen (heard) their Evo, it sounds gorgeous

dont want to be horrible but I went to Ideal recently for them to check my car and they couldnt find anything wrong with it and charged me and hours labour. Took it to another garage who recognise the car has a problem and are looking into it. Maybe ok for buying oil though. I got my oil from MJP Easter Auto on the net (Millers) and the oil filter was £6 from Noble's. Other place for oil is Duncan at Hypertech in Bonnybridge (the one with the supercharged civic).

Got to say in defence of the show organisers it was their first show. The clubs had a last minute scramble to find members who were free to take their cars as we didnt find out about the show until it was nearly upon us. Hopefully this year will be better with the GTROC, Z Club and Type R Scotland all going. It's a good way to get publlicity for you club. Unfortunately I hear that none of the Subaru clubs will be coming. I know its more fun to have the cars on the open road but its also nice for kids to come along and see the cars close up, without thinking the little toads are gona vandalise it Take it the nice 240 was the minted white one ?
