  4. Right some of my mates who have had scoobies before have said mine is not an STi. Was advertised as an import STi, has STi interior, STi stickers. How would I be certain if it was an STi or WRX? He thinks its not an STi as it doesn't have the red manifold... could that be due to the paint peeling off? Oh and it has the IC Spray which as far as I can make out is only on STis?

  6. Well I got a genuine Subaru filter from the company I bought my cambelt kit and waterpump from for £13 posted.
  7. Done the cambelt, got insurance and went for a little drive earlier. All I can say is :D:D:D
  8. No but I didn't know if there was something specific they made for it.

  10. Does anyone use it? I haven't had a chance to use it yet but just wondered if anyone felt much of a difference when they did? What should be put in the bottle? Mines about half full so shall be leaving it for the moment.

  17. Spoiling my excitement Phil hehe. I read somewhere the 555 has Tuned by STI or something like that on the fan belt cover which mine has. Plus it has a 555 sticker on the back
  18. Okay thanks. Just another question, why do you pour it in there? Why not just into the header tank? And it's a 50/50 mix yeah?
  19. I am changing the cambelt kit plus waterpump, got it all off today and hoping to put the new parts on tomorrow but I have a couple of questions. A: Does anyone know the torque setting for the crankshaft pulley bolt? B: I've attached two pictures below, it may be obvious but I just want to make sure, when putting the coolant back in when it's all done, does the water go in the black container and the antifreeze goes in the little tub saying coolant or what? I thought you premix it yourself then put it in the black container but only saw the coolant tub a couple of hours ago. Thanks.
  20. Well I got her on Sunday, haven't cleaned her but doing cambelt, oil, filter at the moment. Will get some more pics soon. Shes a 1995 Impreza WRX STI 555. I haven't had a car for 4 days and I'm tearing my hair out, my girlfriend needs to get to college and stuff and having to use other people for lifts (which is just awkward), not that I'm using my girlfriend as an excuse to start driving the scooby yet but it justifies it in my head . So guys and girls I may just lump the extortionate monthly insurance costs until August (two months) until I can save up enough to pay for the insurance for a whole year (a lot cheaper than per month). For those of you who don't know my plan was to save up enough to insurance the car for a year in August .
  21. I have just bought a genuine filter from importcarparts who supplied my cambelt kit and waterpump. Got 10/40 comma oil and antifreeze from local part dealer. Thanks for the help.
