  1. Went to Halfords and got funnel with long flexi neck and pice of garden hose!
  2. Used Millers 75/90 NT in both and 5/40 in the engine ,all full sythentic Seems good and worth the money. Still have this locking issue at low speed on full lock, may have another issue? Any ideas
  3. Filled via the dipstick. Long funnel no issues.
  4. Diff and box done today, that's it all fluids done. Ready for the winter.
  5. Done both today, rear diff and gearbox used Millers 75/90 fully systhetic Gear box feels smother? Or maybe mind playing games.

  7. Nice, quick question: thinking of doing the same with my steering wheel Was it easy to do and how about the airbag?
  8. Done the service and all OK car runs like a Swiss watch and no more starting problems.
  9. Got the oil,but the top diff plug would not come out, was trying to do tho on the floor then on stands still no joy may need a ramp and a big bar. Got everything else done and got the Millers oil 5/40 CFS for the engine and Millers 75/90 NT for the box and diff both full synthetic.
  10. Today was the day for the girl to get her full service, apart from the rain that was on and off more time than my misses! I replaced completed the following: Fuel Filter (Genuine Subaru) Air Filter (Genuine Subaru) Spark Plugs (NGK) Pollen Filter (Genuine Subaru) Oil Filter (Genuine Subaru) Engine Oil, Miller CFS 5/40 Full Synthetic The car did run sweet before but as I have only had for nearly 2 months I was to be sure it was all good for the winter and that I knew what was in it! All that is left is the Diff and Gearbox oil change and power steering fluid, the coolant/ brake/clutch fluids are all OK and can wait to next service. All the bits cost just over £160 and a day of my time, half the cost of what some charge and third of what main dealer would have charged. Peace of mind doing it your self! Must admit the car does sound even better and throttle response is lot smother, probably bit on mind playing there?
  11. Cheers, just what I was looking for, understand that the box and front diff uses 75/90 oil And the rear diff is different as the STI has LSD is this correct? Or is it the same oil.
  12. Where is the location of the drain plugs for 02 STI gearbox. Also the filling procedure is it via the dip stick for gearbox and front diff?
  13. Have run a tank of Shell VP and seems to be better, may have been some crap fuel. Going to replace the fuel filter and plugs tomorrow, is the a guide for best access to the plugs? Told not the easiest to do! Cheers.
  14. Unplug what? As there are several items on the housing
