sti and

I've only been a member for just over a year so I don't know whats gone on in the past between the two clubs. Some forums are not maybe as busy as others but maybe that's a sign of the times regards peoples finances and rising running costs every year. Also if you have a friend who already has a Subaru then your going to join the same club as them regardless. If you want to meet up and talk about the cars and mods etc then great, If you just want to go for a drive then great. Everyone has there own thing but one thing we have in common is our cars. Please can we all just try and move on with the here and now instead of what was. We all drive a Subaru and share the same interest, our cars.

I always liked the distinct burble that comes from the Subaru. Watched the rallying and used to see them on the country back roads overtaking everything with ease and decided one day it would be nice to own one. Finally when insurance was actually possible for less than the price of a house I purchased my first one. Had it for just over a year and so far loved every minute of it. Cant see me replacing it in the near future, great car.

Thankfully the dome helped to keep us all dry for the day. Another good event, even got asked a few questions by passers by about the cars and the club.

My mate has a VXR and is on the said forums. There has been no mention so far Looks like it was a good run. Shame I was unable to make it along.

Glad to hear the car is fixed and to its full performance. Although it's not your daily driver You must be pleased to have it back.

1st time i'd met you at the fling and struggled to catch you on those twisty roads at times. Shame you had to get rid of the Impreza but needs must I guess. Good to hear you got a good price and a fellow enthusiast has got it. Maybe see you back at the Fling one year with an Sti like you mentioned.

As above, sure you would need to join facebook or use someone else who has facebook to become friends with someone who you know that was at the fling. You should be able to see some of the pics then.

Will have to wait and see if I'm working or not. Always fancied going to watch this at Knockhill.

+1 For Halfords. I use Halfords Screen wash which is pretty good removing those very nasty bugs and also never froze over the winter (used neet). Does not leave you high as a kite in neet form after spraying the window either. 5L not bad value but is a toxic green colour.

Thought about going up to Inverness on the Fri morning from Fife rather than over to Crief 1st and doubling back on myself depending on the route. Still unsure though as Would be more fun to go in a mini convoy so might head over to Crief. Was going to see what everyone else had planned for any possible meeting points en route.

I'll be heading up on the Friday morning if anyone fancies going near the Fife leisure park just off the M90 motorway so I can tag on?
