Very much a display item I recon.

I cant say I have never done some spirited driving, but I tend to keep it in check and at times and places chosen for a far lesser risk. I use my impreza for everyday driving to work and such. My usual miles to a tank says it all for me really (300 miles, Newage, 02 with minor mods) I just dont see the point in racing around in town or when traveling on heavy used roads. I have the lack of luck in needing to use the Edinburgh city bypass and the west end of edinburgh for my work. I see so many really bad drivers and pure dangerous ones speeding everywhere it just puts me off big time. Cant count the amount of times someone has nearly crashed into me or just about caused a major crash. Bikers as well! oh my god they are accidents waiting to happen, watched so many filtering in heavy moving traffic. Some doing up 80mph, really is scary at times [] But I have to say we still have some in SIDC, I know this oh so well from a May run up north where a Green Classic Wagon over took going up a steep short hill that turned to the left with NO sight available for on coming traffic. I crapped myself seeing a SIDC member doing that. Myself and a friend watched this and saw pure lunacy driving at times. Part of the reason I havent attended all the runs.

Cost for each items and fitting Cal? Interested in doing this to the car next.

Sounds like warped discs, just takes this real cold weather with lots of water, sitting on the brakes at lights and bobs your uncle your discs are warped. Got new Ferodo DS2500s on the car and at high speed I got vibration through the steering wheel between 55-75 mph Put on a set of Black Diamond G12s and problem solved []

Well I was under the impression rapid heating and cooling of brake parts is the worst you can do to brakes. Hard to say what the problem is really.

God that looks very nice, Stealth sort of look is a [Y] for me. Get the exhaust very quiet with good performance as well and you have a right sly car for anyone wanting to play with you in it []

Cant believe the brakes are standard [] Also please say they changed the gearbox, I would imagine with that amount of torque it would be like Cholocate soup after a while [:S]

Like the way the calipers have been shaped as much as possible to the disc shape. But damn thats a nice looking car. Very very nice []

Hey Spooks wasnt trying get at you m8, you know more than me[]. I went along to Chris Alans on Wednesday and he says that bulbs were a low rating for the full beams... He later found that the mains werent H7s so I was lost at that point. He then said they were H1s but I want to check before I go ordering another set to find they are wrong [:S]

Can any one tell me the bulbs that I need for a set of Morettes for an 02 impreza? I was told that it was 2 H7s for the dipped and full beam but when I took it for a service Chris Alan said that 1 is H1 and that the H7 bulbs I got are low rated at only 55watts/ Can anyone please tell me what I need before I go spending more cash as powerbulbs? Had Goodyear F1s GS-D3 XLs on my old rims, but my new rims I collected at the weekend came with a near unused set of Bridgestone Potenzas RE040s. They are a bit louder on the road but I havent yet noticed a loss of grip in the wet so far. But they are just until need a new set. omg someone else uses IE6 or 7... I get slagged by a few people I know for using it, get the usual ear bashing from the firefoxers how IE is crap and MS wont conform to CS and other standards and how your a muppet for using it... I quiet like IE6.. i update with all patches but I cant use IE7 cause of Windows XP issue if you catch my drift [:$]

Correct, you would have to replace front end and some of the front sub assembly. I have looked at the option and its not cheap to say the least. your boarding on selling the car and buying an 03 plate. Only reason I could see to doing it is if you get all the components dirt cheap. but you got respray costs on top and there is a good chance you would need to respray the rest of the car.
