  4. Infact she just shouted over and reminded me she chose all 3 of my subarus and that's why she likes them, and i don't have a blob/hawk sti with a huge wing, so she said
  5. Sorry to hear that Paul. I have had a few interesting car choices over the years but think i tested my wife last year the most. 5 cars, yes 5. But in of the fortunate position that in her opinion, if that's what my hobby is then so be it. I don't drink, smoke or go to football etc do its my only vice. As you know i now own a classic, at £23 a month insurance for being under 30 is great and helps, maybe ask to sell the micra and invest in a economical family car. Like a volvo s40 edrive or similar (my uncle just got one) £30 a year tax 1.6 diesel. In my opinion no car drives like an Impreza, no matter model, fact. my wife will be coming to the fling, hopefully this works itself out. I DONT want to have yo buy your car off you
  6. I think Barry is suggesting you get all participants to send you the payments as your organising then you can send the final payment.
  7. Cracking looking pics. Me and a friend used to regularly walk up there. 40 minutes was our time

  15. My two went straight in the post to Gus. You can buy 4 different colours from the shop. Only £1.25 each
  16. I hate asda, or any shops for that matter, even with the classic or the wifes car. I always park up near the delivery entrance aka furthest away from know population.
  17. Pics up, had to jump on the laptop as photobucket on the mobile is playing up
  18. Generally i would rinse the car off with clean water, clean the wheels with wonder wheels, rinse the car again before snow foaming with mcguires. After another rinse it then gets washed with a mitt, twice. Weather dependent it will then be polished with super resin then waxed with collinite 915. Before dressing the tyres with mcguires tyre gel. Picture of my STi Hatch, prepped for Rally Day 2012.
  19. Almost there, it is a hatch The videos with this in the snow are good
  20. All renewable energy is a fad, wave, wind and solar energies although help, actually cost money. They are very expensive and have heavily subsidised. The wind turbines themselves have to have a minimum wind speed to operate. It is also true that the turbines need to be locked down when it is too windy. Also AC electricity, at upto 400kv, cannot be stored and its simply a supply and demand at supply level. If we could store electricity we would have no need for these eco solutions, we could just pump water up and down the dams all night long (when there is low demand on the grid). The way forward is hydro dams. Funnily enough there are more hydro dams in the lowlands of Scotland (Scottish Power/ Energy Networks/ Ibedrola) than the highlands are (Scottish Hydro/ Scottish and Southern Energy). Unfortunately our geographical landscaping is against this. Norway however with all the Fjords, are very good at this, and very affluent.
  21. Nope, I would rather have another hatch for similar bhp. Looks like a pre facelift mk2 focus at the front. Trying to be to many things unfortunately.
  22. Mine just melted mate. New front 4 pot calipers, EBC Redstuff allround, fitting kits, new sidelights, Japspeed Clothing, octane booster, full service and my sidc membership. Timing belt kit and bodywork to come.
  23. That's why its called a hatch
