Just renewed @ £520.00. As usual, the STi has covered just over 4,000 miles over the past year. I strongly believe that car tax should be abolished and put on fuel tax, or am I being selfish?

Can I sell you a perfectly performing 12 year old battery?!!! (see previous posts)
-
Nor me! Last year builders doing work for us, their mini excavator wouldn't start - old Subaru battery started it straight away. I do think I have a one off, but it's so usefull to have in stock!! Will report further in 2023...

Just after buying the WRX STi two years ago, having sat in the dealers for a few weeks, it squealed on cold start. Soon after, battery completely failed, connected up part charged 10 year old OEM Subaru battery from previous Impreza and no more squeal. No problem since then immediately fitting a premium Bosch battery.
PS. Old battery, now 12 years old still charges and maintains charge for months. Is this a record?

Different and certainly eye catching. Looks good against the white bodywork.

Had a 55 WRX saloon for 10 years, but didn't experience your problem...

Same with Samsung. Not that long ago, went to dinner at friends and they gave is a bottle of wine to try. Very nice too, but my text a few days later thanked them for giving us the wind and commenting on the fruitiness. Ooooops!

Quite right. Life's too serious...

Well, I was totally unaware of that issue. Will study my small change in future!

Wasn't going to mention ABCDEFG...

What about I?

Fitted KYB gas struts all round on our previous Prodrive spring kit equipped WRX PPP. No more knocking, improved roadholding. Thoroughly recommended.

I am sure the ride feels better even if it is only a little bit. My suspension has softened over the festive period, mainly around the hips and lower spine areas

Well, the Eibachs were at last fitted on Friday at Subaru Cambridge- charged 3.5 hours @ £96.00 per hour, plus HMRC 20% VAT take - any thoughts on that? Didn't think it would take that long, but it was the first spring change they had performed on a 2015 STi. 20 odd mile drive back home down the bumpy, pothole riddled B1368 did seem to offer a slightly more complient ride, or was it my perceived justification for the bill paid? But definitely memories of the Prodrive spring kits on our previous WRX and STi. Added to the expense was lunch in Cambridge and Mrs Mac's purchases at Levi shop, Next, M&S, TK Max et all. Putting it into perspective, the springs came cheap...
Next expense is Sport Maxxes all round and four wheel alignment. Happy days!

Read in the press today that used prices of petrol cars has increased by up to 11.7%, whereas diesels have fallen by an average of 5%. But will this have any effect on our thirsty flat fours?

Welcome! As an owner of a 2015 WRX STi, you will be making a good decision! Keep in touch for any thoughts and advice.

Welcome - is it a widetrack STi?

Hi Steve,
Welcome to the club. Whereabouts in East Anglia are you?

Will be on Ross on Wye for a couple of days, but not until July!
Glad you will not be losing out on the repair costs.
