My biggest gripe is when somebody posts something for a bit of advice or help and its completely blanked, no replies, no answers etc, yes i appreciate there is a search bar, but most of the time i post from a mobile device rather than a pc, i actually find it quite off putting and verging on snobbery, its not really the example to set new members. I actually find chris's posts entertaining and go somewhat to making it a friendlier place.

In all honesty, i wouldnt know where to start to organise something like this, and probably wouldnt have time to fit it in with my work schedule.

Just wondering if the club is considering attending the scottish motor show, which is being held at the SECC in july, cant remember the exact date though?

Any week night is impossible for me, :-(

Ive saw many an exciting touring car race with john clelland in the thick of it, he was even the cause of me buying a cavi gsi at the time.

The one of the driver looks very like the mentalist that is john clelland.

Apparantly he swerved to avoid a car that had pulled out on him, if anybody knows the road, the accident happened on a left hand bend on a dual carrigeway outside what used to be the spar shop, this stretch of road is notorious for people pulling out from the parked cars at the shop without looking. Thoughts with his family and friends :-(

Saw a blue classic on shields rd motherwell tonight, totaly destroyed, looked fatal, hope its nobody on here, dark blue, black wheels, silver subaru rally graphics.

The hatches are really starting to grow on me, its just the road tax that makes it hard to swallow, but that could be said for a lot of cars that fall into that bracket.

Here's the thing within the motor industry retailers and insurers the book price they want to give you is the money that it would get at auction and not what you would get selling the car privately or if they were selling it on a forecourt, its a way of making sure they retain maximum profit, your P1 would probs fetch 4.5k at auction from somebody either looking to rebuild it or to break it via a breakers such as scooby spare etc. When they ask you to find other examples in a 100 mile radius they will only be interested in the cheapest examples regardless of how imaculate your example may be, i have been victim of this in the past only to see my car rebuilt and back on the road 2 months after it being written off.

Will keep an eye out, usualy spie them about newhouse. If you see some loony in a lorry waving like a madman it's just me lol.

Not meaning to hijack a thread, my 04 newage has been completly decated, up pipe, down pipe and centre section, question is can i have a 100 cell sports cat choped into the system somewhere, probs roundabout the down pipe type area and what sort of effects will it have on my cars performance, i asume i would need a remap aswell, reason im asking is due to my job driving trucks i'm noticing more and more vosa emmisions test vehicles out and about and its only a matter of time before i get pulled over by one, im currently running a full magnex system which magnex no longer make.
