cheers squirrell....info about gearbox codes is very limited!!! i was well chuffed with the 310 mate.....shocked infact on the road it hits the fuel cut defender around 5500-6000 rpm most o the time but peak bhp was way up at 7000rpm so when it managed to get a reading on rollers without hitting the dreaded FCD the true potential was shown gearbox on way....as is the electronic gadgetry to raise the fuel cut defender limit slighly...boost controller getting fitted !! so a usable 300 should be on the cards woohoo see you all at the track regards andy

box been whining off throttle for a while...crunshes from time to time going into 5th for some reason....but gave up the ghost big time tonite.....lost third to start with but by the time i got near to home it jammed in second at roundabout hahaha was told the ap 6 paddle clutch would transfer the weak point!!!! too many 6grand launches hahaha diff not too clever either....cant seem to find any info on whats best to replace it with sti 4-5 are strongest standard ones is all i can find!! but cant find info on how to match gearbox numbers/codes to diffs hope all goes well with your car mate!!!....i know from experiance how it feels to run the shells!! hope the warranty covers you take care lads.......regards andy......

remap without octane booster...would this solve problem??? obviously less power but less chance of det....or am i talkin sh@t again hahaahhah thought the figures would have been up by now!!! old my95 wrx made a reasonable 310.8bhp!!!! woohoo regards andy ps...nobody got a gearbox for me?

i may well be mate, to finance the purchase of a matching one!! if you could find the gearbox code/numbers located on your box i can see if they are a match for you!!! i run a small scrap yard in glenrothes, give me a call on 01592 630015 daytime to discuss further!! regards andy... ps. only open 10-2 sundays...8-5 weekdays

Had a good day....met a few lads and made 310.8 on the rollers....which suerprised me a little!! unfortunately i blew my gearbox on the way homw hahahaha...oops any help on matching gearboxes to diffs etc would be greatly appreciated!!! got a box out of a low milage 99 model but not sure if ratios will match!! see you all nexr time!! regards andy (a.k.a baldyadonis)

Running Z4 ecu....boost only peeks at 1.2bar....seems to drop and hold at approximately 1.05bar since i stuck the FMIC on got the fuelling through th roof at the moment (0.5bar above standard) till i sort it out....so leaning out aint gonna be a prob!! just want it to rev clean and crisp again....lol regards andy -

New plugs and all coil packs have been checked....the hessitation is at high revs...not unlike hitting a brick wall, then returns to normal. initial full boost spikes to 1.2 bar sometimes, then settles down to 1.05bar ish....seems to happen if the boost goes to 1.2bar ish whats the verdict, gotta be fuel cut defender???? help hahaha regards andy..... -
having a few problems on my MY95 wrx import....the syptoms seem to expressing itself as a slight hesitation, bogging down feeling, then it clears and we are off again!!! when really moving it will repeat itself 3-4 times in a row i have done a full de-cat zaust, k+n induction, 255 fuel pump and fse boost valve to up the fueling over standard im assuming the increased level of boost is triggering the fuel cut defnder (but not really sure) has anyone else experienced this problem??? i have seen various electronic devices that claim to raise this limit, are they any good Also i have bought an apexi AVCR boost controller(not fitted), will this cure the problem???? any help/advice would be greatly appreciated!!! regards andy............

paid £420 for an AP 4 Paddle.....and fitted it myself......really easy job if you got access to a ramp and tools!!! But have to admit that it can be a bit violent when doing the slowish manoevers.....nightmare to park in tight spaces etc!! i would recomend sticking a new friction plate at the same time....or at least getting your old one skimmed if it aint too badly heat stressed!!! personally i would go for an organic the next time round....will handle a good bit of abuse regards andy -
