I've just had a siomilar problem and it was warped front discs. But I could feel the judder through the steering wheel during hard breaking. New discs and pads and as good as new.

As above, just moved here and seen a few Scoobs knocking about. Just finding out if your on this forum. Keith

I remember you mentioning you sometimes pop back down there. Where would you recommend taking the scoob for an MOT and 50,000miles service?

It looked like everyone had such a fantastic day, I'm quite jealous that I couldn't make it but I hope there'll be more opportunities to do a 'good deed' sometime. Just as a thought, instead of jiving off the neighbours, how about 1 or 2 go round to the house and pick up the lad and his mother etc and bring them to a carpark where the rest of us will be. Just my 2 pence worth, cannot wait to give the scoob a proper run from Cambridge =]

ThankQ MikeC, i ended up buying the kit from Japanese import car parts for approx £37 delivered, bit better than the £61 haha. Exhaust sounds nice thanks to the new centre pipe, not too loud but enough to be louder than standard

Ah well. but the mini meet sounds like a good idea, will PM you my number, maybe get any others who are interested one sunny day eh? I know the area very well as I grew up there and know that there is many pubs with good food and beer gardens on offer. Keith

I have just fitted the afterburner centre de-resonator pipe to my 56-plate WRX and it makes a difference. Power wise I've noticed the turbo seems to spool up a bit quicker, not really a massive increase but enough to add a bigger smirk to my face. Also there's a bit more of a throaty/louder purr of an exhaust note. My car is standard apart from a Pipercross panel filter and P1 backbox. If your like me and can't afford a remap yet then I'd definately recommend replacing the centre resonator pipe to fill your needs Keith

AAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHH!!!! I went to put on a centrepipe for my hawkeye wrx today and the bolts and conical gasket were shot, tried all the auto factors and they don't stock them. Subaru charge £61 for the 2 bolts/nuts/conical gasket and 2 springs that go inbetween the bolts!!! Is there anywhere near cambridge i can get these cheaper or is the main dealer the only option? 56 reg hawkeye wrx. Keith
