  1. Hey there - the driving lights are the PIAA conversion. I used to have the PIAA covers for them - I believe these were the ones: I thought the plain white covers suited the car better though. Cheers. Richard.
  2. Thanks mate - I appreciate your comment. A mighty fine looking classic you have there too. The fog covers came with the car so unfortunately I have no idea. Cheers.
  3. Here are a couple of my favourite pics of my classic.
  4. ...Hallelujah. Alright everyone - I noticed the following article on pistonheads regarding an apparent permanent initiative to slash Subaru parts prices - Article Enjoy. Happy Motoring. Scooby_my99.
  5. Hello all I was looking for some advice as to which gearbox oil is the best to use? Cheers Scooby_my99.
  6. Just thought I would throw another option in there for you mate. I just had my classic serviced today at 'Riddles Garage' in Bo'ness which is a family run buisness. I would definitely recommend these guys. Both brothers have owned Jap cars which were both minted examples - one a classic impreza (which is now mine :-) ) and the other an Evo - so they both know the passion we have for our cars. My car always goes there and I have seen a number of Imprezas in there. Happy motoring
  7. Hello all The prodrive bilstein rear shock absorbers on my 1999 UK classic are on their way out. I am planning to change both front and back. I was hoping for some advice on alternative brands to consider and your experience with them please. Cheers. Scooby_my99.
  8. Alright fellow Impreza owners. The Idle Speed Control Valve on my MY99 has been playing up. My mechanic confirmed with the diagnostic machine that it is indeed the problematic part. He got a quote for a genuine Subaru part which came out as £350 - certainly not music to my ears. I have been scouting the internet but finding it hard to find any alternative non-Subaru part. Does anyone know of any good place to get this part at a cheaper price? Any help appreciated. Happy motoring Cheers. Scooby_my99.
  9. Sounds like I'm best to stick to Genuine Subaru Mass Air Flow Meter (MAF sensor). Cheers to everyone for your advice. Scooby_my99.
  10. Hello everyone I am looking to replace the MAF sensor in my MY99. I was wondering if there are any alternative brands of MAF sensors other than the Genuine Subaru MAF sensor (£118)? Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Scooby_my99.
  11. Alright mate, I already passed it onto him mate a while back but I will confirm with him again. We will need to think of the best meeting point to distribute them. Looking forward to getting these matts
  12. Cheers mate - I will keep an eye out for you in that mighty fine looking blob you have just got If you are heading to the Falkirk Wheel meet at the end of the month I will chat with you then
  13. That looks awesome mate - the front end looks nice and aggressive and screams out 'I mean business'! Happy motoring when you get it
