  1. I have had both kits on my STi02 and I much prefered the Prodrive kit face-icon-small-happy.gifface-icon-small-happy.gif The Eibach WRX kit did lower the front end more, but found front strut would bottom out on bumpy fast roads.

IIRC Eibach's made both the MY02Sti and the MY02WRX spring kit's to Prodrive Spec's (different Spec's due to far different weights of the front end of both cars face-icon-small-wink.gif

IIRC Prodrive were to change supplier for the later MYO3 STi and WRX models face-icon-small-wink.gif The Prodrive kits for STi and WRX's are different spring rates and also include bump stops for the STi .

not sure if Eibach's did a WRX and a STi Spring kit when I bought mine.

  2. No problem face-icon-small-wink.gif alothough i qoute TSL and Powerstation face-icon-small-happy.gif there are a few more Subaru Aligniment Specialists renowned for work face-icon-small-happy.gif but depends on which part of country your in.

Although i know of lots of Peeps happy with Eibach's face-icon-small-wink.gif for the extra couple of quid Prodrive give you warranty, bump stops and STi specificly made face-icon-small-happy.gifface-icon-small-happy.gifface-icon-small-happy.gif IMHO

  3. Mikey,

Not all Subaru Dealer's have 4Wheel Laser alignment equipent face-icon-small-wink.gif some, most face-icon-small-wink.gif peeps buy the Prodrive Springs from their Dealer and take them to TSL, Powerstation etc.etc. who are all renouwned for such work face-icon-small-happy.gif

It may come costly on tyres if the dealer uses four pieces of string, some chalk marks on the floor and then calls it 4wheel alinment face-icon-small-shocked.gif not that any would.

Sorry I have not used Showell's.

Dealers are the only autherised outlet for Prodrive springs and are The Dogs B's IMHO

    Tony

Edited to say STi's are heavier on the front than WRX's. you may find bottoming out if WRX springs are fitted on cr4ppy bumpy roads.

  5. On the newer models to stop boost spikes they fitted a different size retrictors in the tubing for the boost actuator face-icon-small-wink.gif

A constant 1.4bar ish will preform better than a 1.2 -1.8bar and causing overboost protection.

Also agree with Blue Boy check your panel filter face-icon-small-wink.gif sometimest it can if toooooooo much oil sprayed on can Feck your MAF sensor.

Put your old system back on and retry it face-icon-small-happy.gif a good tip is to buy a AP Meter and check proven performance gains face-icon-small-happy.gif sometimes sounds better ain't faster face-icon-small-happy.gif

  6. Missleman,

Sorry but thats what the MOT man told me face-icon-small-wink.gif so I assumed it to be true face-icon-small-happy.gif We are out in the sticks and a bit backward face-icon-small-confused.gif he's still checking solid tyres for cracks and candles in the lamps face-icon-small-happy.gifface-icon-small-happy.gifface-icon-small-happy.gif LOL

No numers altered or frigged, just a half size numberplate face-icon-small-cool.gif

Yes it took mine 12 days to get to me, ordered them for Trax2003 maybe because of the odd size of front plate face-icon-small-wink.gif the said delays were due to holidays.

  7. I had a little bother over christmas with Plod in Worcester face-icon-small-sad.gif they had a serious crackdown on major road crime face-icon-small-sad.gif the size of my front plate.

Cost £2:00 at a MOT garage to stamp Plods green form face-icon-small-wink.gif for MOT the only rule is to be legible from XX ft/yards/metres face-icon-small-confused.gif cant remember distance, so If it is legible he will stamp it although it's ilegal in the eyes of the law .

Legally they have to comply with speified font's & sizes, Plate sizes and shape, spacing, BS.number and Place where made and NOT allowed a great britain Flag but your allowed a EEC flag face-icon-small-mad.gif IIRC

or Take the £30 on the spot fine face-icon-small-sad.gif

I have used fancyplates above very good face-icon-small-happy.gif but slowish delivery 12 days IIRC

  8. I have posted a reply as my M8 has a 22Buk

<< My M8 has a 22bUK you can E-mail me t5nyw@aol.com and I'll contact him on your behalf with your request. >>

He has mention that a part is missing of his 22B face-icon-small-sad.gif although he hasn't exactly mention face-icon-small-confused.gif which seems odd !!!!! I can only assume that someones half inched a part off his 22b and he's trying to FIND it face-icon-small-wink.gif

  9. The last 2 months the "Road Safety car" haven't been out around our area as they have been to embarrees to the amount's made and the VERY bad safety record on the roads covered face-icon-small-sad.gif

One Danegerous crossroads, it has loads of accidents face-icon-small-sad.gifface-icon-small-sad.gif Asked for a roundabout or Trafficlights 15 years ago face-icon-small-sad.gif They put speed cameras there and guess what !!! there has been more acccidents there than before face-icon-small-disgusted.gif and guess how many of the 1,000's of peeps caught have had an accident there ............................ NONE face-icon-small-sad.gif
